Level 21, no leve allowances left, what now?

Hello.

Returning player here. I got 19 on my PGL, quit for awhile, decided to come back seeing as how Tera is your typical Korean MMO, looking to get the Goobue mount and few level 50's before 2.0 hits.

Yeah, I know this game ain't great either but I got a soft spot for FFXIV. I played FFXI for 4 years.

Anyways, this time I brought my girlfriend along and we've been duoing a bit. Me, being a returning player, I have copious amounts of leve allowances. She, being a new account and all, has barely any. We've burned through them all and the wait time on getting new allowances is pretty damn silly.

So what do we do now? Is there any grind spots that you guys can recommend? Do we have to start full group partying FFXI-style?

I don't know much about the game, especially since I left at such an early level and there's been so many patches and game changes.

I mean, we could do my leve's using my allowances but she wouldn't get that nice chunk of experience bonus at the end.. kinda messes up our plan of leveling together. I'd be a few levels higher in the end.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

You could always just do your leves with her unless you're dead-set against getting too terribly far ahead in levels. The only thing she'll be missing out on is the expanded exp bonus at the end (she will get 10% of what you get, I think). Heck, if you wanted to, you could start the leve, log out, log in, join party, and link back up to the leve. Then neither one of you would get the expanded exp bonus at the end, but that seems like a rather silly solution.

That said, if leves are your baseline, just go out and kill stuff. It's not that different, though you will have to go through the trouble of finding an appropriate camp.

Six, if I may be so bold, to reccomend something here for you.

Try out this monster locator tool.

This will allow you to see the locations of common monsters, their number, and their level. This will enable you to find your own camp wherever you may reside in Eorza.

Also keep in mind that your Leve allowances will grow back, at a rate about 6 per day. So while you're fighting in other camps or looking for quests to do, you will be growing a stockpile of leves to use again.

Meh, I'd rather not powerlevel. Seems kind of lame. I've been reading these forums and it looks like most people go that route though.

Yeah we are probably going to just do my leves. Then do hers whenever they refresh. Just have to suck it up.

Wow, that's an amazing tool. Pretty useful, that should help a good bit. I wish the allowances grew back a bit quicker, but we'll make do I suppose. Let's hope we can get 30 before Patch 1.23!

What level do we have to be to join a GC? I've been looking to do those.

You can also join in on other people's leves if they don't mind you not having any left of your own.

Also, with a Duo you may be able to succeed in your corresponding level's Behests, something to do to break up the grind of camping normal roaming monsters, at least.
