Home World transfer question

I have to wait 90 days before I can server transfer. The problem is the 90 days ends on the 26th while the game is in maintenance. I saw the news post today where they are restricting the world/DC visit system. Will they be shutting off paid home world transfer as well?

I don't think they'll completely turn off paid home world transfer but most NA and EU worlds will probably be marked closed to transfers and new character creation if not outright changed to Congested when the servers come up from maintenance and remain that way until 7.01 or 7.05.

If I remember correctly, home world transfer was disabled for the first 6 weeks of Endwalker but every data center was stressed at the time. I can see SE leaving Dynamis and Materia open as destinations for home world transfers for those players wishing a permanent escape from future patch congestion.

Edit: A Lodestone notice about maintenance next week was just posted. In case you didn't read it all the way, the following was part of it:

* The Home World Transfer Service will be suspended 30 minutes before maintenance begins. In consideration of the high server load expected immediately after the start of early access and the release of Patch 7.0, the Home World Transfer Service is scheduled to open on June 29, 2024 1:00 a.m. (PDT)

Again I would caution that just because the service will be available does not mean that the world you want to transfer to will be able to accept new characters and transfers. Double-check the world status and character creation status on the Lodestone before purchasing a transfer.
