By the same token the content creators are "stupid" for covering it. See how that works?Same argument I used when some healers started to complain about duties being completed without them
Not everyone can play tank at the level it takes to do what Xeno and his friends did
Healers are needed for the a standard situation. Healers could use at least a 3 hit combo spell. That is pretty much it.
This 'strike" is really stupid, for the simple fact that the people joining it want some really stupid or crazy things done to "solve" the problem.
Which will turn into...exactly nothing. Maybe a few PR statements while knowledgeable people know it will all be dust in the wind a couple months from now.
Bad healers removing themselves from queues will make the launch dungeons go much smoother tbh
It's fairly common that players express an opinion and the answer they get "my favourite streamer XYZ said the opposite, you don't know what you're talking about".
Edit: Case in point:

I would once again like to point out that Mr. Happy himself is not a very good healer. I don't follow him much but I went and watched some clips of him healing since he was the biggest jerk about this whole thing. Dude spams GCD heals and overheals like crazy for no good reason.
Gotta love having a community where wanting a role's gameplay to not suck is a crime against humanity.
The strike is not about intentionally inconveniencing people, but when simply telling the devs what's wrong with the role isn't enough to get them do anything about it after over five years a change of tact seemed like it was needed.

The good and welcoming community is rearing its head up again.
Hot damn.
I agree with the original post so much with regards to content creators and journalist standards, or lack thereof. It's why I actually don't agree with SE allowing them to unveil any information at all tbh.
you are never going to get big fully time streamers to EVER acknowledge the flaws the game has and you know why? because they are on the payroll ofc so they sold their morality or individuality away long long ago don't hold your breath. the only reason they cover this topic is because 1.we are in a content drought til the launch of DT
2. because its a new big buzzword being floated around so ofc they want to capitalize on it and 3.it threatens their precious SE money if healers really did commit to quitting full stop(which lets be honest they won't gamers are spineless cowards when it comes to champion real change in the industry they lost their voice ages ago when micro transactions entered the picture they'll never unite for anything an for those who don't even pay attention at all they'll just play other games.)
