Priority Log-In for Dynamis Players

It's always been 90 days (for preferred servers at least). I moved to a preferred server on Crystal when some friends came to play from another MMO during ShB. They don't want people going to these preferred servers (typically lower population) for free and then just going back I guess so they restrict it. I had to wait a month to move back after many of them quit. So glad DC travel is now a thing so I wouldn't need to do that again.

I already have 5 characters on Dynamis and to be honest I love playing there. I like the small town feel of it and people in general are helpful and kind. Seriously thinking about moving a superfluous BLM off of Phantom onto Dynamis to act as a pocket crafter for the other 5 since I think I can get a free transfer.

I am already planning to play my Dynamis characters until things settle unless Dynamis also gets nuts (which I doubt it will in the way Zalera does). If it does well One of my other games had an update recently I can dive into for a week or 2 till things settle.

Yeah same, I'm coming to adore Dynamis, I've been moving almost all my characters there and setting everything up for longterm, a bit surprisingly for myself. It's so friendly and chill, and I really enjoy the new server feeling.

Wait, we can't DC hop from Dynamis but everyone can DC hop into us? Ugh, now I have to deal with long log-in queues on top of non-existent duty finder ones.

I dont think both of these can be true. If a lot of people are visiting, then the DF ques will be fine. Its not like people will DC travel to avoid login ques, do the quests, then log out and get in the long que back to their home server for a dungeon/trial, only to return to dynamis for the next set of questing. If you travel, you probly intend to just play that way for a few hours/days. Also, if no one can travel OFF dynamis for a week or two then all the players there will theoretically be contributing to the DF ques. My big hope is that everyone will remember that if we all mostly stay on our home DCs(dont automatically switch for every freaking duty), then the ques everywhere can be fine.

People keep saying this but I don't see it, not after years of having to DC travel to get even 4-man content done, or how I imagine most people coming over from Aether/Primal/Crystal are going to be making their own parties for duty finder so they can more actively avoid anyone from Dynamis (as many of them assume we're all idiots at any sort of group content) or because they know our queues are bad otherwise and want to skip the wait.

And even if queues *do* improve, it'll be short-lived, once the Dawntrail rush ends/DC restrictions are lifted in a month or two, things will go back to how they are now.
