Priority Log-In for Dynamis Players

Aether/Primal/Crystal: Will be unavailable for travel.
Dynamis: Will remain available for travel, and the maximum number of travelling characters will be increased compared to usual. The newly added Worlds in the Dynamis Data Center are still relatively unpopulated and may be helpful login destinations when other Worlds are experiencing high congestion. -

While I can see the advantages to this. Will folks who are stationed in Dynamis be granted priority for log-ins - or are we expected to wait in line alongside the Primal/Aether/Crystal players. And if so - how is that exactly fair when Dynamis players can’t travel to the other worlds in turn?

Of course, this may be an absolute non-issue if launch isn’t as crazy as Endwalker’s and/or the emptiness can accommodate everyone with minimal issue. But there’s still that chance.

All 12 of us on Dynamis agree we should get priority slots.

People on their home server always get priority in the queue. It also says in the post

"As existing data centers and Worlds are expected to become especially congested, the following restrictions will be in place starting in Patch 7.0 until Patch 7.01 (or Patch 7.05 at the latest, depending on the situation) to alleviate congestion and prioritize logins for Home World residents."

Good because I want my dead server to let me on first!

Really though it seems kinda dumb they released 4 new dead servers as kinda an overflow for the first few months of the expansion with the only ones NOT able to move to the other NA servers being those that are already on their dead -redacted- servers

I had been toying with the idea of moving back to Dynamis, but being locked on the DC for an undisclosed amount of time seems kinda....extreme.

I hope you guys get priority login since you are barred from moving to other data centers (except Materia/Oceania). The lodestone post only said this about JP worlds:

When a World has reached the maximum number of visiting characters, non-Home World characters that are logged out on that World will be unable to log in, and the World will be unavailable for visitation via Data Center Travel.

Moving there locks you to 90 days because of new worlds.

The DC travel limitation is until 7.05 at the latest, or 1 month. Earliest is 7.01, so 2 weeks.

They seem to know they can't keep the restrictions any longer due to any cross DC statics that would be impacted by limiting it

Ohhh, I guess I've never paid too much attention to how quickly the patches come out after a new xpac, but a month wouldn't be too bad!
