Increase the amount of items listed on the Market Wards

Let us put up an unlimited amount of items for sale on the market system in 2.0.

I just want to be able to sell everything I want to sell at once and not have to worry about items to sell taking up inventory space. And while you're at it let us change the price without moving it back to our inventory in case supply/demand changes. That's how the real world works!!

Note: It has been reported that expanded market listing spaces are potentially dangerous to the mental health of FFXIV players. However, recent studies have concluded that expanded market listing spaces are in fact beneficial to the health of FFXIV players. So you may safely carry on with your support for an expanded market system.

i agree. Although i suspect the devs would want to control misuse of it in some way (billion dollar items etc).
it'll also depend on the ability of the system to handle all those items for sale. hopefully it will be able to.

The reason no MMO lets you have unlimited items on their market system is the same reason you won't be able to in 2.0: Memory and Resources.

I have, plenty. None of them lets you have "unlimited", they all have a limit hard coded into it which most people who create addons or helpers found out quite easily.

Let's not kid ourselves, 10 slots is due to shitty engineers, nothing else. WoW came out in 2004 and it has effectively unlimited space. It also has millions of players and alts using that space, and it never crashed while I was playing it. So now that it's 2012, your suggestion is that we go back to pre-2004 standards?
Find me an mmo that lets you put an "unlimited" amount of items in market and ill find you 100+ mmos that dont. If you ever find an mmo that does that lol. Also WoW has a limit too fyi

You're trippin' son. All I heard was "I know of 100s of shitty games that aren't as good as a game that came out in 2004, and also, that game from 2004 isn't as well-designed as you said it is, so let's pipe down all this talk about improving systems!"

Wow has a massive massive cap on items for sale, I only ever once hit the cap and that was because I acidentally sold my stack of items 1 at a time via an addon, but it was like 200 seperate items, of course each item can only be posted for a maximum of 48 hours before it is removed from sale (FF11 does something similar)

There is no reason to have such strict archaic limitations for an online game in 2012/13.

On a side note I am hoping that all dated items and recipe parts will be removed from the game as that stuff just clutters the search UI.

Other MMOs might seem to have unlimited selling capacity but they tend to cap out between 10 and 50 items. Unless you have a specific example, I don't think it'd even be possible to have unlimited selling capacity.
