500 fire shards. 400 water shards. 600 apples. For a stack of juice.
That's crazy, yo.

The recipe is actually a bit on the low side for total raw materials required for a recipe that level. Other recipes might seem to have fewer ingredients but it's generally because what's listed are intermediate crafts and not raw materials. You seem to be overlooking is that the recipe yields 3 Apple Juice. You're going to end up with 300, not 100.
Wonder what you're going to think when you get into the recipes that require far more materials.
I'm also confused why you would want to make a stack of Apple Juice. I know there's a leve for it but just making 60 (so craft the recipe 20 times) should get you from 40 to 50 easily. It's not particularly good for a food buff and if you just want the XP bonus you can buy a stack of Boiled Eggs for 495 gil from any of the food vendors in Gridania, Limsa or Ul'dah.
It's the shards that are dumb. They need to get rid of the shards/crystals/clusters.
