Thank you for envisioning the player housing experience in FFXIV and making it a reality. It is, by far, the most rewarding housing system in any MMORPG and has become one of the main things I love about this game. Your unwavering commitment to this excellent system means a lot and I can't wait to see what additions and adjustments you have planned for us in Dawntrail

swtor is mtx hell and still managed to give everyone housing on a variety of planets/locations of their choosing.

PSO2 New Genesis housing (creative space) is better
Elder Scrolls Online housing is better

Well in GW2 everyone will get a housing system in august, per account that anyone can visit; they even hired devs from SIMS games. I get a feeling they're gonna have the best housing out of the relevant mmorpgs.

EQII had a great instancing housing system. I have multiple houses there. Even a castle.

Housing in this game is joke, only way to make nice house is to break the rules. If you ever will see Yoshi P streams where he watches player houses, guess what, not a single one of em was built legit way. Other than that dev's dont care about quality of any items they add. Funny fact is that even just mentioning this fact may get me banned from forum, even though I dont mention how its done, Yet noone of people visited by Yoshi get banned as long as they stay silent XD

You like glade partitions and like to add glade doors? Oh well, I hope you are not disappointed in fact that door partition have different color tone than regular partitions.
You like spiral staircase? well to bad cuz if you will put loft on end of it, even lalafell wont be able to get on top of it making it literally useless, unless you will put it way higher than you would want it.
You like verdant partition, but also would like to have verdant door partition, or you like swinging door counter and would like to have extension for it without door? Guess what, its not your lucky day, because devs instead of adding set of items that suit each other and interconnect, they add random single items that don't suit each other.

In general housing is low effort content. But... its still kind of fun, like most content in this game
