World Server Transfer - Congested Server Notification?

Hello, fellow adventurers!

I'm planning to transfer to Mateus as soon as it opens up with the release of Dawntrail. However, keeping track of server status can be a bit tricky.

Does anyone know of any websites or services that can notify you via email or text when a congested server opens up for transfers? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

The lodestone messages will also show up in the launcher.

Additionally, it is worth noting that changes to server status only happen in conjunction with server maintenance. After each maintenance (which includes game updates) you can check if any server status changes happened.
If no server maintenance is happening, there will be no change in server status.

Keep in mind though, there's no guarantee on your server opening if it's already insanely populated. Mateus is the 2nd most popular server on Crystal AFAIK and Balmung (#1) hasn't been open in 6 months or more now. So, prepare for the potential of having to wait for a while.

I'm hoping they are opening for Dawntrail. All signs point to... Maybe?

None of us know what SE will actually do but there is a decent chance that most servers on NA except those on Dynamis will be fully congested on DT launch, and potentially for quite some time. I would keep expectations in check.

my .02 says they may declare most of Aether, Primal, and Crystal congested to move people to the Dynamis DC in order to increase their populations. Didn't they just open 4 new worlds there? If I were SE, I would do that before bringing them up for Dawntrail EA. I would bank on being able to move to Mateus in 7.1 at the EARLIEST with more odds on 7.2 being when it opens for new ppl/server transfers.

Yep, this is the most likely outcome. Any large servers not currently set to congested will be on patch day, and any currently set as such will remain so for a while.
