Suggestion for Trusts and QoL within the Dungeon Trust/Duty Support

My husband came up with an idea involving Duty Trusts and the Duty Support for Dungeons. We usually are playing during the slow times. Which when we decide to play our DPS over the Tank/Healer, usually when really tired and just want to "mash buttons" while going through MSQ 4/8 man Duties. DPS know that you can wait upwards of 30 minutes for a group, and that is if the Tank and or Healer, since my husband and I are playing DPS, decide to drop from the Duty queue for reasons. A solution might be to have the duty support be able to fill the blank spaces for the 2-3 player groups. I don't like soloing, I play either DPS or Healer most of the time. My husband has PTSD and dislikes (putting it mildly) random strangers because he doesn't trust easily anymore. There are times he can handle being in an all PC group, then there are days where he just wants to be able to play with me without dealing with strangers. With how the MSQ has been lately feeling like every other quest is a duty (whether solo or group), he started thinking that having a duty support that fills the empty spaces in a group would be something nice. He also dislikes having to disband just to do MSQ story, and that is a lot, almost 80% of the time disbanded when we hopped on to play the MSQ together.

We then turned it towards the fact we tend to play during the slower parts of the day for the English servers. That because we live on a farm and are busy most of the day, with only an hour at least, maybe three hours at most to hop on and play. Other people might see being able to play with a friend and the queue is extremely slow and time to play is at a premium, like students or working a job and have an hour or two to play before bed/class/work. Being able to group with a friend or two, go through a few MSQ or quests, jump into a 4/8 duty without sitting in a queue because of option to fill the space in the group with a NPC. This could be good for 2-3 players for 4 man duty, or for a 2-7 players group for the 8 man duty. This would make at least some players happy if they don't feel up to trusting random players to go through a MSQ duty, or if the smaller group wants to learn the duty before going in it with random people. This is especially true for Tanks and Healers who are returning. I know I took the time to play through a few older dungeons with the NPC groups to get back into healing and to adjust my hotkeys since I am playing on a new computer and didn't save my character files from the old computer. Side note of allowing players to stay grouped during the solo sections of msq.

So, to shorten this, hopefully. Support for Multiple player groups that are smaller than 4/8 players, but aren't solo, going into duties with NPC(s) filler for the group. This would be good for friends and families who do not have the time to sit in queues, just aren't wanting to have random player that time through, want to run the duty to do a dry run or get back into the game after a hiatus, or just want to be with that friend or family member without random players getting upset because the smaller group is taking their time to go through the duty (had that yesterday, but there was no option to stay grouped with my husband and go through the duty at our own pace together, we had to do the duty solo and hope the msq would let us group back up for a while afterwards).

I think that me and my husband have not grouped beyond the duties through the post Endwalker MSQ very much. Maybe about 3 hours at most from end credits to current 6.4 content grouped up, mainly for Fates or doing side quests. Most of the time has been in solo instances and extended multiple quest/duty/fight before we can group back up for a duty or between msq to go do a fate or two just to be able to play a little together before logging off for the night or going to do work or go do baby watch (spring time). It gets frustrating when we have gotten on the game to play together, but the content is mostly solo, unless it is a 4/8 duty. I would like it if the suggestion of NPC group fillers were considered. There are too many games where DPS have to wait in long queues for the uncommon Tank/Healer to queue up. Final Fantasy 14 has some of the shortest at least. I had to wait for about 2 hours (after I retired, before the farm) in a dungeon queue for a certain fantasy game late at night. Not mentioning the game, since most of the MMOs I played were (and for the ones still active) high populations off and on, depending on expansions or time of year.
