Ye I've got a couple of nb characters and getting the wrong pronouns and honorifics is always a bit jarring. Every time I see them getting overly gendered it takes me out a bit.
The pixies get the consideration, I think it's only fair players can have access to something similar.

On a similar note it would also be nice to choose to be referred to by your forename or last name when casually being referred to by one name, (and vice versa for being referred to formally by one name) or having the option of only being referred to by both names.

Would help a lot with Hellsguard Roegadyn players who would prefer not to be casually referred to as [Adjective] or Mx [Noun], and even though we have lore written to get around the current limitations for Raen Au Ra/Othardian Hyur and Roegadyn, it would be cool to allow them to take the [Surname] [Given name] naming convention.

God, sorry, this just reminded me of how much it drives me nuts whenever I'm on my Seeker guy and he's referred to as "Ser Tia," or "Lord Tia," or "Commander Tia," since it's a title rather than a surname.

I mean, I'm used to it! And honestly I think it's more funny than anything; it genuinely gives me a little chuckle every time it happens. Just, at the same time, I'm always thinking "damn...I wonder which guy he's referrin' to..." considering the vast majority of Seeker men out there adventuring should be a Tia.

Not exactly the same problem but related, I've brought the issue of Sir Surname up on the Localization Forum a few times. It's especially jarring to be referred to as Sir Surname or Master Surname when in the same breath that NPC refers to another NPC as Master Forename or Lady Forename.

Yeah, I've noticed that a few times too. It even happens when the NPC has a known surname, so can be easily addressed by it if needed.

I've also wished for this. It could be managed client-side since it doesn't need to be broadcast to other players, just be inserted into dialogue on your end.

The fields would probably be something like:
    - casual name for close friends
    - standard name that most people would address you by
    - formal first name or equivalent
    - formal full name
    - surname or equivalent to be used in a "Mr/Ms [Surname]" construction.

So then for example for Seeker names you'd fill in Raha, G'raha, G'raha Tia as the three levels of handling "first name", the full name is also G'raha Tia and then there would have to be some new lore-rule made about which part of the name should be used in a surname situation.

It would also just be nice in general for characters who use shortened versions of their full name in most cases, and also lets you manually choose to some extent whether certain characters will start getting "close and informal" when addressing you or whether you just put the same name form into both fields.
