Honestly, because there's plenty of countries besides America that have other views on the matter. It's like someone coming here and asking to let characters wear crosses or hijabs.

I feel like this would be a huge step in the right direction. Just being able to express oneself via proper in game options is so huge!

First self identity is no religion but second we literaly killed the Pope and reformed the religious state. xD
Yes i am aware Thordan is called "Archbishop" in English but atleast in Japanese and German he is still called Pope.

There is also a final fantasy Summon called "Jihad" and i would have more material.

Also the Regions that would be against that would usualy also be against the removal of genderlocks and same sex marriage witch does exist in the game
