That's 1 year and 6 months from now.Alright, well, expect Cosmic Exploration to be different.
Also, just like Bozja was not exactly the same as Eureka, Shade's Triangle most likely won't be either.
Beast master will be a new way to play the game. I'm sure it will have different UI etc.
Viper and Pictomancer, ultimately, are new jobs and therefore new playstyles. The other jobs mostly aren't changing much except AST.
As I mentioned, they said there would be something different about deep dungeons, I'm just not sure what.
Beastmaster's 2 years away or more from now.
By the time these release the expansion will be on its way out.
Since the OP flew over your head, here it is again.
Outside of dye and graphics update there's nothing new to this expansion in terms of systems, it's all the same copy paste they've been doing since stormblood.
I understand that we're getting our standard array of content and that it's going to fulfill the needs for a while, BUT I was also hoping for something new and previously unseen. I understand that if we're getting anything like that it'll be in the x.2 or later timeframe.
I guess in future I would like to see new systems at expansion launch instead of 6 months or more in.
It's also a little saddening that what we'll be getting is a refinement of what we've already seen. Field content is better than Island Sanctuary, but still looking for that new hook to get excited about.

I can understand if you want 2 years' worth of patch content magically delivered along with the expansion itself, which is a "whole new game"'s worth of content itself. But that isn't how game development works. It's not trying hard to state this. It's just stating the actual truth.
It's like waiting on the next season of a netflix show and saying they should release the next 5 seasons right now. I'm sure we would all love that but it's not how it works, so most of us watch multiple things in between.

well they could if they wanted to, how it works or not has very little relevance to the discussion.
SE if they wanted to could make all the content and drop it all on expansion but we know why that doesn't happen the suggestion is just simply 1 or two new things like we have the shared fate system, some of the older players ask a lot for a hamlet system added to the game and that could be something dropped on expansion that works as the shared fate system but with just 1 new area for it that is specific for the content it can come with rewards like the shared fate system but be a whole thing on its own that players can do as they please. at least that is just an example.
TLDR to simply state that's not how SE works just states something obvious and deflect a simple suggestion/want, like this wouldn't be asked at all if that wasn't how things worked and is the point of asking for things you want.
First, I want to say I appreciate what you do for the community -- your pooling of all the various Media Tour content was really helpful. Second, I'm still playing the game and will likely continue playing for the foreseeable future. I'm a developer and I understand things take time to develop, but they also chose what to prioritize and that priority meant that we got some very nice QoL improvements and some major graphic and glam updates but no new systems for me to interact with at launch.
OP's point was that the launch doesn't have new systems, putting BST in there is disengenous because it isn't coming til later
Mind you i'm not complaining about lack of systems myself- my only problem with the game is jobs are boring and that's not being fixed til 8.0 so
