That's 1 year and 6 months from now.Alright, well, expect Cosmic Exploration to be different.
Also, just like Bozja was not exactly the same as Eureka, Shade's Triangle most likely won't be either.
Beast master will be a new way to play the game. I'm sure it will have different UI etc.
Viper and Pictomancer, ultimately, are new jobs and therefore new playstyles. The other jobs mostly aren't changing much except AST.
As I mentioned, they said there would be something different about deep dungeons, I'm just not sure what.
Beastmaster's 2 years away or more from now.
By the time these release the expansion will be on its way out.
Beast masters not coming til .4For system changes...
Graphics update
New raid planner in the game
Beast master
Viper
Pictomancer
Two dye slots
Save dye favorites
Specs as actual gear slots instead of fashion accessories
Ability to make blacklisted players disappear or filter terms
Fantasia can be re-used for 60 minutes of logged in /playtime
Can do ventures via the companion app
Cosmic Exploration is technically new, although should be similar ish to the Firmament
Deep dungeon will function a bit different somehow
Option to hide players around quests
Messages display in the middle of your screen for mechanics
Emotes/recipes display next to quests when they need to be pressed
Climb up ladders
This wasn't announced anywhere, but a casual observation I personally noticed in the media tour: bicolor gemstone drops are 16, get buffed by Forlorn Maidens to 20, and by having the Twist of Fate buff (24). Combined with the announced cap increase to 1,500.
Probably other QoL they will leave for the patch notes.
They said there are more announcements to come after 7.0.
But obviously this game has had a formula since the start and they mostly stick to it. It's the same stuff as usual. So you either like what they produce each expansion or you don't, but at least you know what to expect.
You're supposed to be very impressed that we can now hide players around NPCs.

I have been meaning to ask, Are we able to dismount our chocobos and other flying mounts in mid flight currently? I ask because when I try to do so I always land first before being able to be dismounted. If we can't then according to the Benchmark trailer, being able to go straight from flight into a combat action while in Mid-Flight seems like a pretty major Z-axis improvement to the game and flight systems. And it seems like a largely glossed over improvement.
AFAIK, no, you can't dismount mid-flight, unless you hover just above the floor.I have been meaning to ask, Are we able to dismount our chocobos and other flying mounts in mid flight currently? I wouldn't put too much stock in that sort of thing. The benchmark is primarily designed to test performance and they often put in little cinematic things that work in a pre-planned sequence because they can take short cuts behind the scenes, knowing it will play the same way every time.I have been meaning to ask, Are we able to dismount our chocobos and other flying mounts in mid flight currently? Without an actual announcement of such things in a live letter or similar, I'd assume that the mid air dismount is just a fun animation thing that we might possibly see more of it's kind in cutscenes, rather than an actual coming gameplay change.
It'd be nice but I wouldn't advise getting your hopes up for this being an actual thing.

Has there been any mention of expanding our inventory at all? There's only so much you can get rid of when you're an omnicrafter and need all 11 tools + combat class weapons etc. My armoury is always on life support. Year after year. That and no hats on Viera still are my only big concerns (plus the entire PCT artifact debacle of gender locking b.s.)
Beware the lollipop of mediocrity; lick it once, and you'll suck forever.
I haven't seen any updates on inventory space and given that previous increases were highlighted in previous Live Letters, I doubt we're getting any.Has there been any mention of expanding our inventory at all?
