Hrothgars were a mistake, now fursuitters won't stop asking for more garbage.

Hrothgar was indeed a mistake. We asked for Ronso, not the furry Hunchback of Notre Dame. Not the stubby, rip-off, Walmart version, imposter that rp's as Ronso.

Long ago they (including Koji) actually discussed the introduction of mixed blood ancestry characters, having a slider between two different races. Then they never brought it up again.

I believe that was the result of a vote - it was left to us... We could get the half-races type stuff... Or we could have Viera. Everyone overwhelmingly voted Viera over the mixed-races as character options... We see what that got us in the end cause everyone wanted their smexy bnuuys.

In all honesty the same thing could be said with Viera... Both races in XIV are inferior to their predecessors.
But people have grown to love them regardless, so all we can ask for is that the developers add more to them so they're up to scratch with the others.
