Dynamis doesn't need more servers, it's seriously effecting the housing market

They aren't going to make the over crowded servers more crowded. Get with the routine if you haven't figured that out yet. Nothing wrong with Dynamis I have characters there with a beachfront mist and a lavender 11 and I play with my friends on Aether all the time.

Hello, I don't often post to the forums so do excuse me if I get something incorrect.

I am from Aether and we have a huge housing crisis problem. The last Medium that I saw had hundreds of people bidding on it. And then I saw the announcement that they want to add servers to Dynamis and not the servers that actually could -really- use the relief. Aether is greatly suffering from the lack of Housing and the economy, as a consequence, is also being effected.
Diverting people to Dynamis is not going to help, no matter what the actual offer is. Be it gil, more exp, etc.

However, if they add more servers to Aether and offer free transfers to those places as well as those benefits, it would clear up the Market instantly and would not hamper the economy.

Oh Geez. Another complainer.
Alright so #1: All DCs have 8 servers and it will stay that way. No other DCs will get more servers just because it's crowded.
#2: Dynamis was created to alleviate traffic on congested servers and data centers. That includes housing. It's no ones fault but your own to CHOOSE and stay on a congested DC with minimal housing. As another player stated, if you stay on Aether, you can fight for scraps. If you come to Dynamis, you'll get a house. Heck, maybe you'll even get your dream plot.
#3: Housing alone as a lot of people transferring because they don't want to fight over 100 people for a bloody house.
#4: There is this thing called DC travel. If you decide to come to Dynamis because you want a house, you can travel to neighboring DC's. You get the best of both worlds.

In short, don't complain about the situation when it can easily be fixed.

Yuuki you kinda not smart.

1) dynamis was dead with its 4 servers. Ppl only made alts there to snag housing and will do so again with these new servers. They haven't funneled new players into dynamis so it's pretty dead. Nor did they stop established accounts from setting up alts to steal housing.

2) there would be no issue with housing if they finally closed that alt loophole and took people's extras away or moved everyone over to a instanced housing thing. They don't so there will be a shortage all over.

3) very wrong. People created alts and got skips and stuff just to take housing on dynamis.

4) DC travel ruined different scenes especially with content. I'm on aether and see the complaints about lack of content running on other dcs. Maybe if those dcs kept to their own servers then it might be better.

So, the 'alt' loophole appears to be "you have more than one avatar with a house. Shame on you, 'cuz I don't have any." The obvious solution: "Transfer to Dynamis and buy a house. I hear there's a whole bunch of them opening up now".

I have alts on Dynamis. None of them own a house. I prefer apartments, which are available on most worlds at this time, and don't have a Timer you have to trip every X number of days.

As an aside, the non-congested New Worlds are the default for new players. If a new player has friends on Aether or Crystal, for example, you actually want to force them to select Dynamis?

First off it's not a shaming thing, its calling out a loophole that should never have existed that they aware of. Hence needing to be in a fc for 30 days before you can take it over or the fc has to be 30 days old before ya put in for a lotto for a house

Secondly. I know of alot of people who made alts on dynamis just to snag housing they didn't need. Any large and mediums were taken as they hold more resell value.

Lastly. Funneling new players into a new DC isn't a bad idea. Helps liven it up to the point where they don't need to travel just to do content. I get they want freedom for people but some moves should be made smarter then they have already.

Shame those 304 players weren't willing to transfer to the new Dynamis worlds this past week. Competition was very low if not non-existent on some plots.

The price people are willing to pay for staying on congested worlds.

No one is being forced to go to Dynamis if they don't want to but if they feel owning a house is important to their game experience, Dynamis is the best place to create a character.

We had a group of about a dozen players last night that were having a discussion about what it's like to play on Dynamis versus the other NA worlds. The consensus was queue times for Alliance raids are bad but other queue times are fine during normal hours if slightly longer than what you see on Aether. Marketboard was really hit or miss on prices (somethings are cheaper on Dynamis, others are more expensive) but it didn't bother anyone to data center travel to buy items if needed. The chances of running into a toxic player seem to be far less because the smaller community means players are more likely to want to help each other.

I guess it comes down to what you prefer for a playing experience - "big city" or "small town". If you want big city, you're going to have the traffic congestion (log-in queues) during peak hours. You're going to struggle to find housing in the city. You'll be surrounded by people you don't know and probably don't care about you. If you're small town, housing won't be a problem but you might have to put some extra effort into getting the things you want. Neighbors are more likely to land a hand when help is needed.

The 4 original Dynamis worlds are well populated, Seraph even toggles to 'congested' most evenings and has for some time now.

A quick glance this afternoon showed 40-60 Mansions unbid in Mist alone on the 4 new Dynamis worlds after the 1st lottery cycle. I got a good medium(30) there and the only other occupied plot was 5 (naturally).

The housing capacity is there for those who want it.
