Crashing to Desktop

Hay all. On the PC Steam client. as of a few days ago the game started crashing just after start up, ill be able to log in, select a character and as im Loading in to Old Sharlayan it crashed to desktop with no errors. This also happens with newly made character's. There was 2 occasion's I got an error message that I'll add.

Iv been searching these forms for a solution but everything iv tried hasn't worked. iv no mods, iv reinstalled the game 4 times now, iv switch to dx9, iv nothing running along side it besides Steam, nothing is over heating or spiking in power usage, and everything was up to date and running fine before the issue started. As of the most recent re-install I cant even select a character before it crashes. I'm at a loss on what to do.

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Please try the following:
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable). It appears that your GPU [RX 570 Series] was last updated on [2/20/2024]. At this time, there should be a newer version available.
- Please try lowering the resolution and/or graphics settings.
- Please try running the game as an administrator.
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
- Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive. (If Steam version, make sure both the game and Steam are installed on same drive)
- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated.
- Verify installation files (Steam)
- Reinstall game (If steam version, try uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and Steam)

i dont know what i changed but its working now.

Edit:
alright now i really am just confused. I guess something corrupted that the Launcher couldn't fix, and kept corrupting when reinstalling...but downloading it to the C: drive left the files uncorrupted letting me transfer them to the SSD to still play through it.
