    even if you dont move the skill itself, having a new smaller or similar skill that then "ranks up" into that would be a welcome change--giving new players a more interesting and well-rounded leveling experience (especially healers, who will press one button for the vast majority of their careers)

    Yea I completely agree with this sentiment, it's a great (and relatively easy) way to improve jobs playability at lower levels. Summoner and Monk are proof of this.

    THIS so much... just make lesser versions of most spells/skills... would also make sync less soul crushing...
