Is it really that hard for people who don’t agree with the concept of these complaints to simply say “I understand your complaints but I don’t necessarily agree with them and due to this I will continue to use healers in DT”

Considering how my usual queues go even in Endwalker, they won't even get faster queues. You can't get much faster than instant.

Some of the people who claim they love the game and want to see it grow are also the very same people who mock and laugh at unhappy people and tell them to unsub.

Ok I wasn't going to post is this thread given I gave up on healer in this game long ago after maining a heal in 2 other games before FFXIV. But this post got me.

Not everyone that tell people to unsub if they are not enjoying the game are actually being nasty. It is sound practice to not give money to something that is not meeting expectations in a game or in real life.

For example: The hubby and I just dropped our Walmart and Sam's club membership because we cannot in good faith give money to a company that is pulling some of the crap that one is. Does it leave us in a lurch since Walmart is our only real grocery in this one horse town? Yes. We will eat the time and gas money to drive the hour to another city to avoid Walmart from now on.

Money talks to companys far more than protests.

Even so I wish all of you luck in your boycott.

I would encourage OP to edit the first post and provide the healer issues, as someone pointed out in r/ffxivdiuscission, to quote:

I respect the effort. I doubt it will do anything in game, BUT it can gain a lot of traction through social media to the point where big content creators talk about it, leading to SE having less excuses ignoring it.

The main problem I see with the forum post is that it needs to have explanations for why healer mains are upset, what change they want to see, etc. There was another “summary of healer problems” thread I saw on the forums, they should have a link to that in the OP.

I could link a hundred threads, if not more that have accumulated over the last several years that points anyone interested in this direction. However, suffice it to say, the dev team has had ample opportunity to formally address this issue and do so with utmost transparency. This is a result of their negligence. I can't speak for everyone, but I don't have anything more to say to them. My previous actions have spoken that I was fine with the direction they have gone when I really wasn't. Now my actions are going to be reflective of how I really feel.

That may be true, but if the hashtag does get traction and people look up this thread, they won't find feasible information because not everyone uses the forums. I think at least linking the most common issues and multiple threads spoken about healers would do just fine.

I hope that you have some success with this, in the hope that support roles become interesting to play again in the future.

As an observer who doesn't have a significant personal stake in this, though, I'm not sure how you could succeed without having a clear objective. What exactly are you striking over? It's obviously not over pay conditions, because you're not employed to heal. What are you specifically trying to change?

I think that if you can't distill your vision down to a few concrete, actionable points, then people will just be left with the vague sense that you're upset about something without having any understanding of what it actually is. Nobody is going to understand your specific viewpoint from reading a hundred threads. I know that putting those points on paper can be divisive, but you have to commit to a view if you want things to change. But you have the mic now. If you could make five specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely design action points about healers that the development team would then be obliged to follow for 7.x, what would they be?
