Debatable, since the devs pay a lot more attention to the Japanese side of the forums than the English one... Our best bet is probably making enough noise that someone in charge of forums brings it to their attention.
I think the same about DT Ast. I loved the high APM, busy job that it was. Sure, Astrodyne sucked and Lord/Lady being random, too. But now it just feels slow and clunky + the support cards are basically useless.
I really want healers to move a little away from healing..
I know it is counter productive but let me explain:
Healers have alot of kit that is situational and not being used on most of the content which other jobs don't have this problem
Just get rid of it!
Why healer have this much healing? Give healer kit that standout..
I wish this could happen
Astro should focus more on cards buffs
White mage should focus more into "mage" aspect this job isn't Conjourer anymore.
Scholar should focus more on pets and Dots
Sage need a little modification and it is already in a good state
Adding more attacks to the healers and more ways to meaningfully spend Job gauges. That is generally what I want.
And for AST, making all the cards actually good... While they were bland as just DPS buffs, they were all alzways usable in any situation. Now, only 1 of the 3 you get with a draw is a DPS buff, and on both Draws it's the only one that's guaranteed to be useful. And of the minor arcanas, Lady of the Crowns is kinda useless in general while Lord of the Crowns is very good.
I agree mostly though SCH's past gameplay was more on having opportunity costs. If they're going to remake SCH, to alleviate some redundant healing and to focus on opportunity costs and pet management, Aetherflow will have to go and make Lustrate a pet ability. The rest of its oGCDs will work on manipulating the properties of their shield heals or dots.
SoF really depended on your party. There were some parties that could miss a DK, and still clear because they knew how to DPS, and then there was, well... The rest of the DF. It wasn't pretty, but man, was it paradise on the other side of that wall for a while, because you ended up with players who actually knew what they were doing. I miss that actual wall for skill sometimes. If I remember correctly, the fight wasn't overtuned so much as it was tuned too perfectly.
I remember that failing to land even one dragonkiller would cause the entire fight to fail, and everyone just had to wait forever for the dragon to walk all over to the gate to restart the fight.
I wouldn't say it was a bad fight though, it was just a gimmick fight that was tuned so that you can't make a mistake when using the gimmicks, so I guess in a sense, it was overtuned, because you can't really expect 8 people to coordinate perfectly in a random party.
SE can’t seem to get a grasp on what AST should be. EW AST design was just a failure and DT is now being considered as one too.
ShB AST was in a better spot than what it is now, and that’s despite losing card variety.
No, I want healers to have more of a chance to HEAL, they are HEALERS.I really want healers to move a little away from healing..

#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE
I am not saying that healer won't heal
I am saying healer shouldnot have 8 buttons do same thing
2 buttons are fine
Why there is no uniqueness for all healer?
They have same abilities with different icons that's it
2 buttons are fine you say..
Don't healers have 2 dps buttons, so shouldn't that be fine? /s
