I mean, I've been a Savage raider here, too. Recently, it's been kinda hard to be a Savage raider when there's some... Let's call it IRL drama... keeping you away from the things and people you love. I'm sure you can read between the lines on that one.End game raider, okay, the vast majority of FF14 player base is casual. Savage is maybe 10% (if that) and ultimates represent maybe 1-2% at best.
I was High end raider in the previous game that I played, and I went into savage as soon I finished MSQ, what is keeping you back? For sure not all the fun you have in trash dungeons.
But also... It's not like even Savage changes the formula. Still just as predictable, easy to deal with damage, and the same single damage spell spam. Doesn't change the core fact that healer design is in the dumpster.

I understand what you mean, and what i am about to say is not meant to create conflict.
I know forums don't represent the majority of the player-base, and i know forums (as a concept) don't exist to be a "direct feedback platform" kind of place. But where can we actually give feedback to help devs do something? If you go to the "feedback and suggestions" in the support center, you get this nice message: "Please submit your feedback through the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Forums" , but for some people forums should not be considered as a feedback platform? Then why don't SE create idk, more surveys and share with players related to specific jobs and get actual feedback to try to reach a "middle ground"?
I believe that when you see, every single expansion, popular threads talking about the same topic, that topic should get some attention, specially if these threads are being submitted in the exact place considered by them to be the "feedback place".
What i don't agree with is people trying to discredit what forum participants are saying only because "it doesn't represente the majority of the player-base", as if forum players are not players at all and their opinions shouldn't matter.
Also, yes, there are players who are satisfied, we will never, in any scenario, in any context reach 100% agreement, and most of these players don't want to participate in discussions, however, there are probably players who are not satisfied, are not vocal about it, and just give up on the job (or the game as a whole idk), so it's hard to use these kind of arguments instead of actually stating opinions respectfully (i'm not saying you are being disrespectful, i'm referring to people saying we are whining, etc.)
I am not of the "this is what WE WANT" mindset because i don't represent everyone, but i noticed that most of the healers in these forums share the exact same frustrations, should their voices not be considered? To complain about different topics is one thing, but to have multiple groups of people complaining about the same topic every single expansion is definitely something worth considering.
I did savage in EW as ast, and healing is not much better there. Savage difficulty is just about solving mechanics. It didn't really challenge me as a healer, as it's still the same 1 button spam, with some ogcds you throw out whenever the game throws out an raidwide.End game raider, okay, the vast majority of FF14 player base is casual. Which tier have you cleared?I mean, I've been a Savage raider here, too. Recently, it's been kinda hard to be a Savage raider when there's some... Let's call it IRL drama... keeping you away from the things and people you love. I'm sure you can read between the lines on that one.

Abyssos broke me on release, especially P8s and Anabessios was a purgation hell with min ilvl, even though the mechanics were easy. HH with 640 was.. something else, let's say.
As for your personal life, sorry to hear that. hopefully, you can sort it out fast.
Edit:

And I assume you got a 99 score in terms of DPS or am I wrong since it seems you were breezing the mechanics? How hard can it be to press a button no?

Anyone got the collection of graphs that shows how many times healers are using their filler for each expansion?
So far I have only seen this: https://kultur.jp/ff14-healerstrike/
You can scroll down and see numbers in screenshots.
IMPORTANT! I do not know and cannot vouch whether these numbers are correct or not, just sharing a finding.

Cole Evyx discusses the bland DPS of healers in his latest video on SE disabling sage's dot stacking and also talks about how he agrees with the healer strike on that point:
https://youtu.be/wmnsFgembmI?t=114
It's a big concern of his to convey to players of other classes where the problems with healers' current one-button DPS lie in his video. Regardless of differing opinions I think it's very good that he really emphasises this issue on a broader platform.
