Yes, in the current situation, that would be a good start ^^

Retired healer
We should be respecting and supporting our fellow players who are acting out of genuine concern for a combat role they are passionate about in the game we all love. Every disgruntled healer main that is participating in the strike is doing the right thing. The dev team will, without a doubt, get the picture real quick when the effects of the strike start showing in their player metrics
That 1DRK + 3DPS endeavor was run with MINE in the following duties:All of these dungeons are filled with more commonly known "hard to heal by DF healer"-pulls. Again, with MINE active. It's not a situation you'll realistically see in daily DF runs - that's the equivalent of not wearing all gears obtained from first playthrough of MSQ on all 4 participants. It was far from a series of perfect runs. That low of a collective HPS was all that's needed, let that sink in. It should NOT even be a thing ideally.
- Holminster Switch - no completion time data.
- Amaurot - 15:58
- Bardam's Mettle - 14:57
- The Tower of Zot - 22:03 (wipe once on last boss, cleared in 2nd pull)
- Dohn Mheg - 15:17 (also no interrupt/interject used on Fuath)
- Mt. Gulg - 15:36 (with first megapull of 5 packs & last megapull, NO wipes on both.)
- Shisui of the Violet Tides - 12:30 (wipe once on megapull after 1st boss)
- Doma Castle - 15:39 (wipe once on megapull after 1st boss)
- The Qitana Ravel - 20:25 (wipe once on last megapull)
As much as I agree with the premise of the strike, and wish to have the holy trinity to be more prevalent and less about "everyone is a dps" I say this with all forms of content in mind.
Most people aren't going to know that the strike exist, duty support exist if queue's do happen to get long etc.
I do however think and hope this thread of engagement on both sides ends up will ultimately push us in the right direction for not just healers but tanks as well ( I am a firm believe that Tanks outside of PLD shouldn't have healing capabilities and even then it should be somewhat limited) Why even have roles if healers or dps even if tanks can just do everything) *again this is with all forms of content in mind*
I have not posted in a while, but wanted to come out to reiterate a certain point. I meant it when I said the strike is not meant to disrupt the game, and is entirely a peaceful protest. We are not a group of malicious, bitter, spiteful healers desiring to inflict suffering on the community. The success of the strike is not contingent on players being locked out of duties due to a lack of available healers. It is understood that there is a possibility that this can happen, especially considering that this is a +2 new DPS jobs expansion, healers are already in short supply, and duty support is rather limited especially when it comes to player's reliance on the duty finder having the game group for them using an automated system, and roulette rewards having a criteria that includes strict role requirements. Queue times are going to be rough at the start with or without the healer strike if you are a DPS player. The healers on strike are in the same boat and will be using DPS and Tank jobs in Dawntrail, and are also reliant on healers if they want to use the duty finder and Party Finder features. As much as I agree with the premise of the strike, and wish to have the holy trinity to be more prevalent and less about "everyone is a dps" I say this with all forms of content in mind.

We are just simply done, and have lost a lot of desire and enjoyment in playing the healer role. Dropping it for an undisclosed amount of time is done with heavy hearts, I assure you. I wil also point out that we don't desire for other roles to be made less fun, and to join us in misery. We want the game to be fun for everyone, and feel that not enough alternatives have been explored to do so. Shirking responsibilities from one role to another and over simplification in both job design and encounter design are most definitely not the answers to circumventing these issues. We understand it is a desperate move, but we have exhausted everything else to try and reach this dev team.
I have found a new love in DNC, and you will find me maining this job in DT. I hope and pray everyone is doing well, and will enjoy the new expansion.

Oh, i wasn't saying the whole movement is pointless, it has some merits in making the game better. I'll end with this:I have not posted in a while, but wanted to come out to reiterate a certain point. "Bring back the holy trinity, Let healers heal, Tanks tank and DPS.. well do what they always been doing lol"
EXCEPT dragoon... they spend so much time on the floor, their cleaning bills must be astronomical!

Yeah I think a lot of people misunderstand that this strike is not attempting to disrupt the game.
With how much traction this topic has garnered across social media, I would be surprised if the devs were not aware at this point. I understand balancing the game to be accessible for beginners and engaging for veterans isn't an easy ask, but I have faith the devs will do their best to strive to please the fans of this wonderful game.
Probably because Strikes are actually designed to be disruptive, so there is odd messaging to call for a strike specifically but state it's not seeking disruption.
Strikes are inherently supposed to be disruptive, as if striking employees do not disrupt the employer's operations in any way it will have no effect whatsoever. In fact, if that happend they'd probably only show that their jobs aren't needed at all and later have them downsized lol.
I feel this is deja vu, and so is my question - is this a serious or sarcastic post? Because the first part sound serious, and then it sounds progressively more condescending and sarcastic as it goes on.We should be respecting and supporting our fellow players who are acting out of genuine concern for a combat role they are passionate about in the game we all love.
