I have a static I can join whenever I want. You aren't going to stop me. And I have raided btw, deal with it.
Not aiming it at you, but anyone who thinks they have some kind of control. You absolutely do not.

This attitude isn't new, it has existed for years, I would be genuinely surprised if anyone with an interest in raiding wasn't already aware of it.. What's new is using it to frighten people away from voicing their opinion in the forums (i.e. harassment) , as such I'm not going to give it any more visibility.Well we're just informing people on the "culture" so to speak if they want to do raids or apply to statics in the future. It's a statement of fact, not of opinion.
It's just a warning that you could be kicked from PF groups doing Ultimates or even weekly Savage PFs just for hiding the logs.
Also Kaurhz and I are not trying to defend the spreadsheet guy at all lol. Just telling you what the situation is currently.
Note: the following quote was in response to Arthars looking up people's tomestone.gg

I've made a forum post for it, we can talk about it further there lets stop derailing this thread with this.
Let's also not forget that there's one of them amongst the forummonger you linked who actually went directly into JP forum to sabotage a similar thread made by one of EN user by purposely typing in English and insult the EN community. Funny how people keep yelling the strike isn't going to be of any significance but also give so much attention to it. Pick a lane already lol.
But that's alright. We're the best community, right? /s
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
Is there a reason the strike starts on the July 2nd ("official release") rather than on June 28th ("early access")?
(This may have been answered before but there are nearly 500 pages...)
Should we point out that if people think the strike has significance, there wouldn't be a need to go into the single thread on this forum where people are posting what they enjoy about healing and trying to disrupt it? There's a whole bunch of people from this thread that have tried doing that...or, perhaps, are we going to acknowledge that when there's a group of people doing something, trying to act as if one single person's actions somehow represent the group is dishonest...Let's also not forget that there's one of them amongst the forummonger you linked who actually went directly into JP forum to sabotage a similar thread made by one of EN user by purposely typing in English and insult the EN community. And yeah, our community in FFXIV is leaps and bounds above most others that I've experienced. The forums are never a good place to determine that, though. These are almost invariably cesspools of negativity and toxicity. I go by what I experience in-game as the norm.
I dont think it really matters. People who are into the strike are taking a break from the game or playing other roles since they first heard of this like i did.
People who dont care as much or just want to get their fill of healing before the strike can change what they play later like on early access or release.
Id say i really recommend people play other roles for story content anyway. Little battle encounters or solo instances on healer is a perfect way to ruin the game experience.
But yeah the point of the strike isnt actually to strike, its to get attention to the matter. It has nothing to do with actually trying to affect queue times.
I think its more just a psa. To me, i was always a healer main but started picking up dps jobs when i got bored. So, why not just wait longer to play dps and have fun too anyway? That's how i view the strike.
You're completely right here. Players in FF14 are generally more welcoming and polite. There are always a few bitter people who go into threads they dislike and project their own bitterness onto others, but generally it has been fine.Should we point out that if people think the strike has significance, there wouldn't be a need to go into the single thread on this forum where people are posting what they enjoy about healing and trying to disrupt it? In any other community you'd find thousands of players like this guy, but here, thankfully we only have one.
Narrator's voice: People on this forum have called every single new expansion in existence the "worst one so far" since the game started. This place has been a negative echo chamber for the game's entire lifespan. The couple dozen or so bitter residents are meaningless compared to the hundreds of thousands of players enjoying the game.Thankfully, the silent majority of players are having a blast playing the game, having fun, and may not even know these other things exist, let alone find anything meaningful in them. Pray, disregard the bad-faith forum posters who are addicted to the game but so pathetically bitter they can't stand the thought of other people enjoying something.Except, of course, that they're not. FC's are filled, queues pop even for odd raids at all hours of the day. It is indeed a vocal minority of pathetically bitter people here on the forums that are complaining because they can't stand that other people are having fun playing the game. This forum was less of a cesspool when a certain few people took some time off (ironically, for all they claim to hate the game, they...apparently resubbed and are actively playing again...).Except that it primarily is. Look around and most of the pro-EW crowd doesn't try to force their beliefs on the naysayers, they just point out that in the grand scheme of things most people think like them. They generally know how to present opinions as opinions. The same sadly can't be said for the bitter doom crew.
My man coming in with the receipts, nice. You're completely right here. Players in FF14 are generally more welcoming and polite. There are always a few bitter people who go into threads they dislike and project their own bitterness onto others, but generally it has been fine.
