Hate to bring this up, again, but when did you start? If after/during Shadowbringers of course you'll have this attitude. See, people aren't asking for something new to happen, but give back some old tools we had before ShB. Look into it, if you haven't.

I have nowhere complained about that you're sharing your opinion. I only stated that this strike is childish, wich it is.lol sabotage? How is this sabotage??
It matters because there is a comparison to previous iterations of the healer role, which would still function in today's game. And no one's saying you can't have an opinion, but you're also complaining about us sharing ours.
Great to see you're still bumping the post, though, thanks for the help!
You can strike all you want if that makes you happy and think it accomplishes anything. I'll just observe this farce with keen interest of the outcome, if anything happens at all.
Using the term "strike" was undeniably a poor choice, especially since strikes can be frowned upon in certain parts of the world. However, it did succeed in raising awareness, which was its primary goal, and it has ultimately achieved that purpose. Unfortunately, some bad actors are exacerbating the situation, and whataboutism is diverting attention from the main issue. Nonetheless, the strike has highlighted a significant divide within the community about whether Healers are in an acceptable state, indicating that we have reached an impasse.
99.99% chance probably a Titanman alt
How is FFXIV mainstream friendly when most would-be sprouts die at account registeration?
Stop trying to make it an MMO it isn't.![]()

1. The game has never had specs, but healers have still been more challenging in the past from multiple fronts, DPS and healing despite that. The game not having specs is irrelevant, and we have objective confirmation of this in the history of FFXIV after 2.0.
2. No one is advocating for healers to be incredibly difficult. No one is trying to make a dungeon feel like a savage, or even an extreme. I would say nearly every post here is just asking for something more than what healers have currently.
3. You do not need 4 healers to all be the "friendly entrypoint for players." It's self-centered and greedy to want to stop any and all change to even one of the healers that could satisfy other people more.
This is insanely ironic considering the current existence of FFXIV is literally because Yoshi-P had to make the original FFXIV into an "MMO it isn't." Stop trying to dismiss and handwave people away because they have a different opinion than you.
I think this should be in the OP because it is a perfectly short but accurate response to the "go play harder content" argument that keeps getting brought up again and again and again. It really doesn't and shouldn't matter how much content someone has done as a healer. Healesr should have compelling gameplay at all levels of play. Not just savage/ultimate. In extreme, in dungeons, and even in solo instance duties/leveling quests, healers deserve better than they have right now imo in terms of dps buttons. (They don't need more damage total but could really use more engagement in how they do that damage, without over correcting and giving them f ull dps job rotations.)
1) People who are saying such things are not reading the OP and never will.
2) Let them bring it up again and again and again and get this thread about healer issues to 999 pages, seemingly against their own interests of making this strike seem silly and insignificant and ensuring nothing changes
Who is the "they" you're referring to? I support this strike but I personally don't believe the devs have ever cared about complaints about something not being fun or engaging. The only thing they seem to ever care about and act on are issues that prevent the game from running smoothly and when the status quo is upset. If a situation arose where healers were in such dire need and duties were failing to pop I think the most they would do is add mount incentives like tanks have and then call it a day. But the players have no control over that. In reality there is nothing at stake here. It's more just players in solidarity over this topic with a hashtag that is apparently really triggering people.Saw some websites comment on this and the comments section in them think this is pointless. But then I saw someone mention that they did a sort of similar strike for healers back in shadowbringers but nothing came of it. The thing is if the complaints have been going for years you would imagine they wojld have noticed… so it makes me wonder if they’re truly happy with the direction or this strike is just a very loud minority.

Well, it made you look!
But seriously, I don't want to come for anyone, as I said in an earlier post the biggest thing we face, together, is division amongst the player base. We can agree to disagree without being passive aggressive or resorting to insults.
