End of this folks. I see all sides but I have to wonder. Do you want dawntrail pushed back? That's exactly what would happen if the devs listened here.

I also want to know who is from 12 days from now and tried healer in the new content. I ironically ask this because everyone here hasn't even played it.

Just going off info and formed their own opinion. Formed a mob and got the attention of the world in doing so. The japanese forums are discussing this but it's more calm and collected.

So keep it up. Maybe you all will have them make the world mad by putting off the release just so your healers will be fixed to your satisfaction before you get the chance to even try the changes. Cause you know. You the only players in the world and the company needs to revolve around just your needs.

I know this is probably just a joke, but brigading is not the answer.

People are tired of having to reiterate the same arguments, debate the same points. Line is firmly drawn at this point.

Really just wish there wasn't so many insults and passive aggressive BS flying around over it. It's vile. It's not like DT is going to be delayed, 7.2 changes were debunked obviously, and we're still years out from any meaningful adjustments. Don't see why there is so much emotional blowback for a thread on a forum.

Can't tell you amount of times it was me on dancer and a tank burning down the last half of a bosses hp.

I was replying to "healers are there to fix mistakes" argument, and your reply is under the premise of "healers being absent while you're downing the boss."

You will eventually become better at the game, good enough to challenge harder content and to handle chaotic situation. You being better will either prevent the chaos in the first place or the content you challenge would not allow for this chaos (more bodycheck). The better you get the less fun you will have in this role. I PF a lot and if I had to guess the percentage of runs where I genuinely felt like a healer it would be 1 out of 50. Try to imagine yourself 3-4 years down the line, having healed multiple tiers/expansion. Would you still want this rotation?

I was a healer in heavensward and endwalker and i still struggle, but it's slowly getting better, ye. maybe you're right and one day i'll be able to handle the chaos. but because of my background, i take pride when something goes smoothly and that might be the gameplay that's boring for you.
After 3-4 years.. hmm.. i mean, i quit Gunbreaker because i found the tank gameplay boring after 2 years of playing everything but ultimate as a tank, and after 3-4 years in one role, i think i would be exhausted. even if 2-4 new skills were added to the rota.
With the experience you've shared with me, i absolutely believe you that playing a healer is boring and not fun for you.

one question. are we really talking about every healer? i can only play whm and sge because ast and sch are too complex for me, and i always thought "as sch and ast you almost have too much to do".

You can see for yourself and try doing easier content relative to your skill level. Bring healer to map runs/dungeon runs. Are you genuinely okay with things staying the same just so that it is more accessible to newer players who will eventually fall off the role anyway?

i'm going to try this out in the next few days. I want to understand what it means to not have much to do, to not feel challenged and to question your skills and your role.

1. It has been mentioned like, every other page the strike does not want the devs to take immediate action, that this is just to bring attention and voice to the problem to hopefully work on it during DTs lifetime, and defintely confront the problem before or with 8.0 release.

2. This is not a mob, you're exaggerating the simplicty of just Not playing healer, Including #XIVHEALERSTRIKE in bio, and providing a brief explanation if anyone asks what the healer strike entails.

I'm not trying to be rude but why even bother entering a thread focused around a particular point and then proceed to do everything except read the main posts to understand what "XIVHEALERSTRIKE" is trying to convey? I don't know who specifically other than two people have been rude over in JP, but I can tell you one of those was going to JP to trash talk the people in favor of the strike. The other person... That person seems more of someone on their own agenda and is kind of obnoxious. I would just ask that you hold the individual accountable for their actions rather than the group. No one is telling people they need to go harass JP forums or condoning that.

Yes. I'm getting a little tired of people waltzing in and claiming pro strike users are calling people names or being otherwise rude. This is the least rude game criticism topic possibly ever. The users being most rude and condescending are the critics, no question.

How about if you want to write an essay defaming us you back it up with a direct quote or a screenshot? Otherwise you will just be respectfully disregarded.

You still haven't seen the media tour footage I suppose? I feel like we discussed it 50 pages back. Perhaps you forgot. Dawntrail has been played, very casually, and the first dungeon is the same as always...tank fodder.

You could make an argument that it isn't finalized or doesn't represent the rest of the expansion, even though those are both highly unlikely.
