Why can't WHM get Aquaveil for the water conjurer quest? It's weird getting nothing since they removed Fluid Aura a long time ago. But if they were going to add a water skill back in, why put it randomly at like lvl 76 or whatever? Giving WHM a lvl 15 damage mit isn't going to break the game, I promise.
Don't even get me started on arcanist beginner quests, and it's a terrible first impression to new players when the game tells you to use abilities and do mechanics that don't exist anymore.
So far, nope. I've been leveling my SCH exclusively thru roulettes, and was "hoping" there would be more Healer "in need" than usual, but...nope. So many times I call up the roulettes and it's still Tank from top to bottom.So, genuine question, I dont feel this strike because I play with friends which some of which are healers, but do people feel this?
I see a lot of dps waiting in q but that is nothing new and with 2 new dps jobs it's likely even harsher, so, do you think this is making a difference?
Not surprising, though. The number of people involved in this "strike" is barely a grain of sand compared to the size of the playerbase. Not to mention the timing - doing it right as a new xpac launches means there's a ton of new and returning players, so chances are for every person who goes on "strike", there's several others already stepping in to take their place.
Well I think going on strike is also just dumb,
I will quit playing healer 4 weeks after savage releases and I have all my gear.
Then I will be a pf dps.
Tbf ppl are either putting up with it to please their FC/friends.
I only do it for ppl who ask nicely. I had a really bad experience in roulette earlier and it enrages me bc bad players just expect healers to do the most while point fingers when things go wrong–and out of my control.
All the simplifying of healers is just make good players leave out of frustration and new ones clueless since they're going to be praised for doing the bare minimum while bashing vets for wanting more.
Atp I'm just waiting for the excuses and over buffing of healers to compensate for "Oh sorry we forgot a out you guys!"
I think the real tell is going to be Party Finder. And a quick glance shows a lot of open groups waiting on healers...

Because a lot of people like to read my post (looking at you content creators) may as well add this:
The healer strike is not because of a DT dungeon being completed without healers. This was happening in EW. Its because of a multitude of things:
- Lack of changes going into DT for healers (still boring 111111 spam; a proc after a 2 minute recast timer buff does not change that)
- Increased tank sustain that they didn't need because again, THIS HAPPENED IN EW. WHY is it being made WORSE?
- Unwanted changes to the classes in the upcoming expac (Seraphism, AST card changes)
- The dev team's apparent unwillingness to change or even listen to feed back
We're striking because we're still being ignored.
We're tired of being ignored:

Astro is getting:
- an adjustment to Macrocosmos that should’ve been there at launch anyway.
- faster cards, which will address some of the issue with the new card system, but most of the new cards are still hilariously superfluous.
- Adjustments to Lightspeed’s cooldown and a charge that are nice QoL buffs that people were asking for 2 years ago when Astros burst started to demand Lightspeed. So while it’s nice, why did this take so long?
