#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE

[Rein_eon_Osborne]

I was planning to play dps or tank this expac, but I have all healers leveled to 90 at the moment and I'm not afraid to use them. All I can say is... y'all are in for a treat when it comes time to actually *do* something in this game. Sure you can play through the dungeons with trusts, but you're not going to clear the MSQ trials without a healer. So strike all you want, but before you commit fully to this cause, just be aware that someone will come up to fill the void left in the wake of this protest. If your intent is to prevent others from playing the game, then we will find a way to play it. If that means switching to healer, then so be it. Your strike means nothing unless you can get everyone on board and you won't while there are still folks who just want to complete the content and move on with their lives[...]

Cool! I hope you (and many others) will enjoy filling the queues for the strikers who swap to tank/dps/no longer plays healer in pug environments. Rest assured nobody wants to force you to play the worst role in the game, including us. 'Cause guess what, we don't pay your sub!

[...]Play the game, or don't, but stop acting like you are actually going to make a change this way[...]

It's a sad truth that folks needed to be this noisy to get the discussion points even perceived or listened to. Feedbacks has been streaming in for 5-8 (depending on where you draw the line) years on the healer subforum, yet only managed to get a dismissive "lmao go play ultimate" the first time folks got even a little loud about it alongside vitriols from their snarling white knight defenders. Why am I not surprised this Healerstrike also have their fair share of naysayer in their white knight glamours.

Dismissive job dev & their white knights, name a more iconic duo. #GCBTW
