Sure. Changes are welcome, and CBU3 is constantly making changes. SCH is vastly different today than when I started in 2.0. I just think providing feedback without hamstringing other players' enjoyment is a better course of action.

*emphasis mine*
Very few of us expect #FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE to actually affect queue times much. In fact, it's not so much a strike as much as a protest.* but, I think Gemina was brilliant to call it a healer strike as the term galvanized the healer community.
Thank you! I hope you continue to enjoy the game for many years to come.FWIW, I do hope something good comes from this. Just, the proposed style of going about getting it isn't for me. I imagine if I wasn't a healer myself, I might actually be more upset about it. I saw the announced changes to 7.0 SCH and I thought it looked promising. But hey, that's just my opinion.

As much as I am usually for the same idea that you suggest, healer feedback in the manner as you described has been grossly ignored, underplayed or given regional bias to since 5.0 (tanks to a degree too, if you ask me). Sure, the strike might actually affect queue times for those who do not wish to engage in this, but I think the joke of keeping Healers and incoming damage taken accross the whole board as is has been going on for long enough.
I main tank and play DPS mostly as off-role; I think they should absolutely hamstring other players' enjoyment because THEIR'S (healer's) has been compromised with the changes to their damage kits and the bulk of healing/shielding additions provided to tanks and DPS. Sure, the average player may not be at fault for this, but if peaceful feedback has resulted in absolutely nothing, what other choice do they have in trying to actually get serious attention from CBU3 / Naoki Yoshida?

I absolutely cannot agree with this. Players making other players have less of a fun time is just going to create negative feelings. It won't be because I'll experience bad queue times: I expect mine to improve greatly. As much as I am usually for the same idea that you suggest, healer feedback in the manner as you described has been grossly ignored, underplayed or given regional bias to since 5.0 (tanks to a degree too, if you ask me). Intending to ruin others' fun is horribly toxic. Period. It opens all healers to behavioral criticism from other players, and I'll be damned if I get lumped into a group of people openly admitting they want to ruin others' fun to prove a point.

So what's the alternative? Keeping up the status quo for another 3+ years? Because peaceful feedback has done squash all and tank/DPS actions, upgrades and additions have been encroaching on the healer identity ever since and despite my initial liking of all the upgrades, the overall incoming damage has NOT changed at all.
Explain to me how it is only ruining for tanks and dps if healers actually are fed up and refuse to play healer, but it is probably A-OK if the tanks and dps continue having fun at the cost of healers having fun.
In case this is lost on anyone, I am NOT maining healer, I'd be part of the roles AFFECTED by this strike and I am STILL for it.

But tanks and DPS aren't having fun "at the cost of healers having fun." Now you're trying to sound like it's other players' faults trying to ruin healer enjoyment, when it's not. You're suggesting that they must be punished for healers to be satisfied. So what's the alternative? Keeping up the status quo for another 3+ years? And sure, some healers really don't feel that way. There's "I'll just do something else until healers improve, maybe CBU3 will notice a drop in role membership," and then there's "SCREW THE DAMN TANKS AND DPS, THEY ARE MAKING US NOT HAVE FUN."
Wanting tanks and DPS to "pay for" changes to healers is, again, incredibly toxic. That attitude isn't just bad for tanks and DPS, but it's damaging for the rest of the healers that just want to play their damn role.

If that was the reason (wanting to try something new) I'd have no problem with it.
But when the stated reason is "ruin others' enjoyment," that's a toxic position.
