Don’t they say ‘No news is good news?’
Just because the devs haven’t formally acknowledged the issues publicly doesn’t mean they aren’t aware of it. I mean, we have absolutely no evidence to suggest that they’re fully aware and simply don’t care.
For all we know Yoshi-P could be working those two guys in his basement to the bone trying to resolve the feedback. But then, there’s not exactly evidence for/against the inverse either, so it’s not like there’s no probability of that being true lol

*look at the last Job Skill update*.Don’t they say ‘No news is good news?’

Nope they don't care.

I would be surprised if they aren't aware of it. As you say there's no evidence to say that they don't care and it's silly to say --->last job updates "guys hey they don't care". They're very slow to doing major changes to healers and tanks and they don't communicate their plans until they know what they're doing, so in this case IF they will make changes, we might not know for , what, another year?Don’t they say ‘No news is good news?’

I would take it as a positive sign, in a few months we get some indication of plans for reworks, and at that points I don't even expect details.

Must i go back on Yoshi-P "If you want more engaging content, go play Ultimate" that fell flat in the end?I would be surprised if they aren't aware of it. So : no they don't care.
And all the skills "update" that healer got since the release of the 7.0 are all pointing to this fact (it's so out of touch that it's completly ridiculous)

I mean, at least they got something during the last update; phys ranged didn’t even get mentioned in the notes section lol. A whole 100 MP off aoe shields! It’s what we always wanted (sarcasm lol)
Addendum: not to suggest that what they have done isn’t woefully inadequate but like they might be doing something lol

I may have to agree with Lorika here. I get that the intention was to protest our wants and needs first and I do hope that they are planning something good eventually. However, the protest has been going on ever since Shadowbringers, right? Even if we can prove the devs do still care, I have a feeling the higher up corporate and executives also have to be convinced. Several posters have been trying to say some of the corporate could care less how their product works. They just care if it makes money for them. The main question they may ask could be, "Can we still make money if we ignore these supposed disgruntled healer veterans?"
So ... what do we do now to convince the executives that they will lose money by ignoring us? Unsubbing is one way, although that is more extreme as I said earlier. Are there any actions we can do to convince new healer players the role is boring? You know, by making it "too easy" on them flooding them with WARs and PLDs as one example. Should we also start flooding in more PCT DPS to skip more boss phases and make it even more boring to them? Would our SAM DPS also work too with Tengetsu essentially reducing the need to single target heal DPS?

There's no need to try and convince people of anything, the moment any healer asks themselves the question of "What else can I do to help my party?", the illusion of the healer role being well-designed will immediately break.
There's already been quite a number of people who say they're new to the healer role and are wondering if it ever gets any fun. There's also been people who were previously fine with the healer role after ShB that are also now fed up after 2 expansions of stagnation and no hint of the 'building from a new foundation' promised by the dev team after the ShB rework.

Now that's just hilarious. I thought the "build from a new foundation" was just a fever dream cooked up by the white knight co. who drank too much koolaids. Is that something that they (devs) actually promised to us? If so, do you remember when this was actually spouted? There's no need to try and convince people of anything, the moment any healer asks themselves the question of "What else can I do to help my party?", the illusion of the healer role being well-designed will immediately break.

I don't remember any statements from the devs saying that ShB jobs would be a foundation to build off of, so I just took the statement of "building from new foundations" to be something the players came up with to justify what ShB started. Now that's just hilarious. If someone does have a source from the dev team saying that ShB jobs were a foundation to build off of, mind dropping a link?
