You did right, dont let anyone tell you otherwise.Ok it seems it need a bit more explanation.
I was doing my Leveling roulette and i got Stone Vigil.
The party was : a PLD, a BLM (who was doing it for the first time), me (WHM) and this guy (VPR)
So from the start until the first boss, the tank pulled 'normally' and this guy didn't avoid any of the AOE.... I was often low on MP with Lucid Drean and POM on CD.
The first boss, having only a cleave, wasn't hard but, after we killed it, i asked to VPR : [Name] can you do mechanics and avoid AOE please? It will make the run smoother.
This here i got the : Who care you will heal me.
After this answer, the Tank clearly got cautious and only did a small pull. After all mobs were dispatched, the tank didn't hit run and also pulled the next little group.
At this moment the guy said : "C'mon" and left pulling another pack of mobs and more, since one of the wandering dragon was also here.
After the little ordeal that ensued (the guy still didn't care about AOE and such), the Tank said : Bruh, seriously.
And me i was like "ok this guy don't give a sh*t"
Come the second boss.... And this is here that i let him die because : he didn't avoided a single tornado set!
And then come the aggressive tone, that clearly finished to set me off.
This is when i said that i wasn't a heal bot and that he shouldn't make the healer angry (i concede it was bad wording... i should have put a "a" instead of "the")
Then the guy left.
In the end, the most ironical part is that, the 2 others party member said i was right to have done what i did.... But on this thread i'm a toxic player.
Sorry, but i would do it again to thoses kind of cretin that ruin everyone run. i won't kneel and say "oh all mighty DPS, My Lord, you do as you please"
I'm someone very patient, who like to help others when they don't understand a mechanics,i don't mind losing time for someone that have trouble doing something and die often.
All of this i don't care.... but jerk like this guy, no. I won't let them walk all over me just because i play healer. I'm not here to please them, i'm here to play. If they want a Heal Bot, they just have to use trust.
I hope you reported this player.

^^ The spiciness of some ARR dungeons is always ... a delight. Stone Vigil in particular. So many shenanigans.

I believe I just got that dungeon Stone Vigil last night. It seems a few others do not realize that we are only allowed to have GCD heals for that dungeon. The tanks also cannot use any of their 15 - 30s strong defensive cooldowns either. The tank will need a lot more attention as a result with only a shield or Regen present from us.
I mean, a double pull is still possible for me there, but be mindful of the sprouts in those 2 roles. Forcefully pulling for the tank when neither of them are used to their kit is just asking for a wipe. We don't just instantly know what to do under pressure. We will need experience with the toolkit to know.

Stone Vigil is the worse ARR dungeon for Scholar.
*Where is my Aetherflux and Lustrate /cry*

Healer Strike more or less has failed, while keep on beating a dead horse with a deafpointed stick?
Been very easy to get groups both random queus for dailies even as DPS as well as PF content.

Well considering the Strike never aimed to disrupt the game flow everything goes according to plan
The strike wanted to gather attention to the problem and people outside of the forum hard atleast of the strike so it already is a success in that regard.

I said probably 500 pages ago (lol) that I think the primary win was how much attention this got - not only on these forums but it resulted in discussions from top YouTubers, reddit, and Twitter.
I never though the actual strike part was going to be noticeable. Healers were already the least played role before the strike and then they released two new DPS at once that many would want to test out.
But I think this was still a "win" overall. The Devs certainly would be aware of this topic given all the attention.

I would have to agree. I mean they could say that they are not aware of any issues with healers... but I would find that exceedingly hard to believe. I am sure they would have had markting people looking for social media mentions of FFXIV prior to and during launch, so they cant have missed this.I said probably 500 pages ago (lol) that I think the primary win was how much attention this got - not only on these forums but it resulted in discussions from top YouTubers, reddit, and Twitter.

#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE

In terms of fourm feedback, this has probably been the most the developers have ever gotten.I said probably 500 pages ago (lol) that I think the primary win was how much attention this got - not only on these forums but it resulted in discussions from top YouTubers, reddit, and Twitter.

Now if they actually care is a different story...
