I’d very much be delighted to have some sort of agency to pick a priority system to which debuff I want to cleanse instead of randomly picking one. Always love to see RNG picking that one bleed with 3s remaining when the target have couple more debilitating debuff or 15s+ bleed going on lol.

I know what you mean, but I also feel it is an appropriate punishment when making mistakes, though randomness is quite unpleasant. I feel maybe they should make it remove the lowest duration debuffs first?
Then it is not random (terribly annoying) and doesn't diminish the impact it's meant to have. I know it's mainly Deep Dungeons where it matters to begin with, and in those you'll either remove your own debuffs using echo drops, or you're basically done for either way, and you'll only be getting hit and surviving tons of cleansable debuffs (usually) if you are in a party.

Kind of unsure which I'd prefer, needing to think about extra things would be cool (if you could choose which to cleanse), but I feel it may take away from the challenge a bit, and make it even easier than it already is.

I think Esuna cleans up them based on the order they were applied, with the most recent one first... Which is kinda stupid...

Yeah.... honestly I feel the same.

I do think it would be better at least to clear the longest duration first, or maybe set an order of severity and make it clear the most severe first but that's more situational.

Esuna does have that problem prioritizing the first debuff inflicted on the target. It's mostly not noticed since not many enemies inflict multiple debuffs. It's pretty much Malboros that do that with Bad Breath and some of the worst debuffs are always applied last.

I suppose we could debate if the spell could remove multiple debuffs or all of them. There are other DPS versions from WAR and BRD that can grant similar removals or immunities to certain debuffs. Plus the DPS / tank variants are oGCD, so the GCD Esuna should at least be better if it's going to cost us a bigger resource that could DPS or heal.

Doesn't one of the casters have an ability with a variable output based on how long you hold it? Couldn't something like that be done with Esuna?

Do you mean RDM's gauge to charge their Melee combo finisher (50 out of 100 or Manification cooldown)? BRD as a Physical Ranged does have one if I remember correctly an expansion or two ago.

Anyways, a cooldown could be understandable for clearing all debuffs. Could be a self debuff or a UI element. Something like every 30 seconds with subsequent uses in between just getting one? Maybe Esunaga / Esuna 2 for the cooldown one or something and flip it back to Esuna after using it?

If you're referring to some mechanic where you hold down a button for <N> seconds, rather than just tapping it, then no, that doesn't exist in this game (as far as I'm aware).

That has been suggested by various folks, though.
