Seraphism kind of feels like it should've been a WHM skill, like an upgrade to Temperance... But it went to the wrong Job instead because the devs know so little about the Healer Jobs...

The worst part is they have made the healers so “anti masculine” (I’m not criticising gender roles here but honestly can you see meteor wearing a wedding dress and casting flower spells) that I physically cannot imagine meteor ever being a healer

Maybe in like 3.0 when SCH was a tactician poison mage but can you imagine the 8.0 trailer and meteor casts seraphism, it would look like an actual joke and I hate that as a male healer main who plays a males character

I mean look at the warriors of darkness too Lamitt went from being portrayed as a powerful mage in HW and then became the healer bot gf of Ardbert and the healer role quests basically just made her a Sylphie who loves her big strong warrior boyfriend and wants to heal her village. It's very clear that healers are the girl role, I mean look at other FF games and how many of the girl characters are normally healers.

I would go along with having different animations for males and female characters, not sure how I'd handle it for multiplayer content but I'm not a developer so... But yeah, +1, preferably with an option so people can choose for RP.

The only overtly feminine part of any of the healers is Assize and thats only because of the pose at the end. Flowers, twirls, floats and what not are just a skill issue honestly. And its a skill issue on SE's part in not being able to depict WoL as a healer.

Offtopic but i couldnt help myself. Healers suck, strike good. Im just reminded of some dude complaining about one of the deluxe skins of Frost in WF having jewelry on its horns and how its feminine lmao.

I personally find Assize pretty neutral. If there's any animations that leans toward being overtly feminine, IMHO that goes to Lilybell placement animation.

If you want to compare the CNJ and WHM cast animation... The Cure spells and Medica 1 uses the CNJ one, while Medica 3 and the Holy spells use the WHM one.

I mean... if you're talking about glamours/clothing in general, yeah... all those healer glams. I personally don't mind the feminine looks. But I take issue if that's the majority I'm getting when other role gets all the nice stuffs >:| Unlock the goddamned role restriction already, thanks SE.

Speaking of Medica III, it could've been an ample opportunity to reuse the old Aero III somatic release. Having your character twirl & float, only for them to abruptly land back to raise their cane just doesn't flow pretty well -.- Gimme that cane twirl lol.

It would be nice if they added in more styles and animations that fit the males more for healers. Pretty much just the SGE 100 class gear looks alright on my Hrothgar. SCH was also intended for males ... until Seraphism is used of course. <kidding> Wouldn't doubt it if someone made a Sailor Moon macro for it. "Sailor Scholar Power Make-UP!" </kidding> Other than that, the colors would definitely need to be dyed and the hat is probably a bit too small for me >.> At the very least, we got A hat for Hrothgar, lol. Also another pair of thigh boots for the collection to make the Warcraft players "jealous" >.>

Assize, lilybells, temperance twinkle sparkle sound.... you get used to it tbh. WHM leans more on 'cutesy/childish' aesthetics, which just happens to fit female characters more often than not.
