My headcanon is that the only people playing healers are people who are either in it for a free ride or can’t handle a more complicated job.I still enjoy the increase in difficulty. It's a little frustrating on DPS when the healer thinks I can survive a raidwide at 30% HP as a squishy, but it is what it is.
I feel more appreciated as a "babysitting healer" that keeps dps at 90% lately, which is nice.
Hopefully people realize then can't always zone out and Glare and the playerbase adjusts.

For as frustrating the ARC SCH/SMN shared system is, it did a good job of converting DPS into healers who DPS. Up to level 30 when an ARC became a SCH in ARR you basically had the ARC damage kit so you already knew what your damage rotation was because you leveled with it for 30 levels and got decently used to healing because you got CNJ to at least 15.
Now when you go from ARC to SCH you get thrown into a completely different playstyle.

Starting from Stormblood, the first tier took 16 hours. In Shadowbringers and then endwalker, it took 14 for both of them.
Edit: Then for this one it took 9 hours.

more players, better more stable connection and overall skill improvement of hardcore savage players. Unless cbu3 do a blizzard and overtune savage on a purpose the world firsts will only get faster.
We're getting reports of even the PF progging M4S right now. It's not just the "hardcores" finding this easy.

I've not seen the new Savage runs so can't say if the fights are as scripted as "every other fight".
But if they are, and I'm sure they are more or less scripted as FFXIV fights usually are, one simply have to watch a guide and get the positionings right & be able to click buttons (skills) to get a clear.
FFXIV fights are more in line with a memory game than a test of skills.
