Honestly I still like the puzzle fights but also miss the execution based fights. Really wish we could just have both in savage. CBU3 really just throws away old ideas and systems and instead of revamping or fixing them. Also, savage has already gotten much easier over time. While older savages were more execution-based, modern savage is mostly puzzle fights, so literally anyone can clear it if they know the answer to the puzzle.
So I don't know what else can be taken from us at this point.

There is a right way and a wrong way to do puzzle fights.
A8S is puzzles done right, there's Legislation, Gavel and adds phase, they're puzzles to be solved but they also require good execution.
P8S is a puzzle fight done badly, High Concept is barely even a mechanic once you learn what you need to do. There's so much time to do what you need to do and there's really only 2 permutations.
I would be careful with using terms like "manifesto" if I were you, kinda has a nasty ring to it (Communist manifesto anyone?).
~~Manifesto~~
- Self-sustain and healing abilities given to other roles.
The choice/direction to give such abilities to roles outside of healer encroaches on the role.- Over simplified DPS rotation
Every job in FFXIV has a 'filler GCD' skill that they press when there are no other requirements. No role in the game pushes this skill more than healer. Not by a long shot. Our offensive capability should still feel dynamic and rewarding. Yes, we are healers, but we are also casters.- Homogenization of healer jobs
Barrier/Pure healer split is largely redundant. All healers essentially play the same with the exception of few and far between niche abilities.- Excessive oGCD heals.
These are not only abundant, but exceptionally powerful. This in addition to self-sustain on other roles reduces the dynamic of healing comrades.- Lack of engaging content outside the most difficult duties (Savage/Ultimate). i.e. the threat level is too low.
Healers should feel like they have a place in all forms of content. It is understandable that difficulty can't be so great as to bar progression of story-based content. However, innovative means should still be employed to make greater/full use of abilities.
- This strike is a protest. As such, it is not intended to disrupt the game or the players who have subscribed to FFXIV.
- The message of the strike is a collective voice of those who are not happy with the state of healing and healers in FFXIV.
- Players supporting the strike wish to hold the development team and Square Enix accountable on their promise to provide a fulfilling and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- The activity of a player supporting the strike has chosen to not participate in duties as the healer role. Most supporters are still going to actively participate in duties, meaning they are still contributing to the community. Just not as a healer.
- #FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE in a player's search comments expresses their support of it.
- No player participating in the strike is telling others to do the same or to spread the hashtag. Those who do so are doing so at their own volition.

Why not try using a dictionary next time - manifesto is derived from manifest - "Something that is manifest is easy to perceive or recognize, and a manifesto is a statement in which someone makes his or her intentions or views easy for people to ascertain". Latin derivatives noun manus and adjective infestus.
Thanks for bumping the thread!
You can fix the healer issues without gutting tank self-sustain, and they will never gut that because they know the second they do there is going to be a "tankstrike" the likes of which this community has never seen.
And unlike this one, that one is actually going to affect the community and the queues.
Leave us out of your problems.

Y'know what? If there's a tankstrike, I'd say good for them.
The more noise is made revolving around their garbage decision toward the job gameplay, the better. I'd rather see that happening than them trying to sweep everything under the rug and pretend nothing's happening while their white knight defender yapping without paycheck.
Tanks having self sustain and lots of it is not a new concept in MMOS, if you think FFXIV tanks are self-sufficient just wait until you see what a geared tank can do in a game like WoW where it is not only that they do not need healers, they do not need the dps either as they can solo normal content and even still relevant raids on their own.Y'know what? FFXIV´s tank self sustain s not the issue nor the reason why healing in FFIXV is in the situation it is, and it is just a lazy "solution" that would affect the rest of us.
So again, keep us out of your problems.

Why are you acting like a role not needing the other 2 roles in hard trinity games is a good thingTanks having self sustain and lots of it is not a new concept in MMOS, if you think FFXIV tanks are self-sufficient just wait until you see what a geared tank can do in a game like WoW where it is not only that they do not need healers, they do not need the dps either as they can solo normal content and even still relevant raids on their own.

Like if people are so desperate to never have the healer affect their roulettes just throw in the towel and dissolve the trinity at this point
Regardless when I play tank I don’t particularly enjoy the level of self sustain I have because it’s boring to never be in danger so tanking opinions are wide and varied as well
It's funny you mention WoW, because someone actually linked a dev comment saying "Yeah. We screwed up and made tanks unkillable. We're working on fixing it." when all we get is radio silence from XIV on that front. So, no. Let's not keep them out of our problems, because just like 1.0, XIV needs to borrow good design from WoW again.Tanks having self sustain and lots of it is not a new concept in MMOS, if you think FFXIV tanks are self-sufficient just wait until you see what a geared tank can do in a game like WoW where it is not only that they do not need healers, they do not need the dps either as they can solo normal content and even still relevant raids on their own.
