B.) What I wrote was not a hyperbole and it definitely wasn't someone new trying to figure out how to play, it was 100% intentional griefing. What can I even do there to help them to help me?

Unfortunately there are just some griefers in this game, and healers have tools to grief harder than the other roles. For example, a couple weeks ago while tanking when I got a Tankbuster a bored healer pulled me into everyone else with Rescue. The timing was intentional.

Witholding healing as purposely and obvious as this person is also griefing.

Unfortunately we have some players like the person above who honestly believe that this person was learning (lol), as though if you played enough to unlock sage you wouldn't know that the tank should be healed.

You have got to be kidding, "healers have tools to grief harder than the other roles", this is coming from someone with a tank at level 90? I mean this discussion is pointless, anyone can come up with stories, but that is just wrong.

I have had tanks intentionally run/dash into people with AoE busters way more times than I've seen healers maliciously Rescue someone.

And the amount of DPS who have caused a wipe by using LB3 before the healer could save the pull by getting everyone up has also been pretty high.

Wanting healers to be better is all fine and dandy, I started as a WHM and would love to see a more complex version of it someday, but can grumpy strikers please stop queueing as healers and making everything that much worse for everyone? I've wanted to get back into tanking, but it feels like 90% of the time I get a healer who is so fed up with the game and has decided to make it everyone else's problem.

Dear SGE, yes, I am a WAR, but this is the Sunken Temple of Qarn. I don't have the insane self-sustain at this level. Why is the Kardia on you? Stop spamming Eukrasian Prognosis on the DRG, I am literally dying to single pack pulls here, you absolute cretin. Also I saw you using your entire kit to keep yourself alive when I ate shit and died. I am going to scream. Just a crumb of healing I am begging you.

Also, what is this current trend of SCHs not having their fairy out? Does anyone have Esuna on their hotbar? Why are you suddenly wanting to tank as AST? What is the meaning of life? Why do I even exist?

Yeah, no. This isn't a striker. This is the kind of healer that SE willingly designs for to attract. What a horrible world we live in.

If what defines someone as a striker is that they're on strike from (i.e., refusing to use) matchmaking, why would you think a player you got through matchmaking was a striker?

This is like going to a senior home expecting to find only children and complaining about its residents as said children.

There are plenty of people who are unhappy with the current state of the healer jobs, partake in the strike discussions but also queue into duties as healer. Some of them to cut the insane DPS queue times, some to do stupid shit because "the game doesn't need healers and it's ez anyway so it's whatever lmao." It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. We can't control everyone taking part in this or sharing the sentiment to act the same way.

Personally I would prefer to try to help someone before choosing the other options, as I have benefited personally from other players helping me (and I'm sure will do so in future) , but you do you.

Good chance your healers just sucked TBH, most of us on here are not even queueing as healers and honestly we dont want to disrupt anybodies game play. As for the fairy they probly forgot or they just ate their fairy for stacks.

Report them if you really think they're trolling you.

One can say that the SGE could've been a striker that's grieving intentionally, but what prevents another to say that the SGE is just genuinely bad AND is a perfect example of what's potentially happening when regular vet healers stops healing and now you're more likely to get the healers that are picking up the job cause "I want fast queues!"?

Maybe you should stop blaming bad players on the healer strike because the striking healers aren't what you're describing unless there's a handful of jerks who were specifically told not to grief.

Yes, there has been an influx of bad healers. The reason is twofold - mostly it's because a lot of people came back for DT and they're rusty as all hell or were not that good to begin with. That and some people only pick healer for the short queues.
