The claim is that aoe damage is happening slightly more often. As opposed to EW where most of the time all aoe damage was incredibly telegraphed and bursty. That's all.
I still think healing is bad because the oGCDs are too strong and the damage dealing is bad. Its an observation and some cope coming out of me saying it would be nice if the damage was stronger and crafted gear didn't ruin it even though I know it will. I think you're looking for an argument over nothing.

so are you now claiming it's not telegraphed? its not more often at all you just have blinders on.

the only thing i agree with you on is that its cope.

an argument and a discussion are 2 very different things btw. just cause I'm not shying away from a discussion by trying to hide my replies behind changing my write ups to reply to messages that have come later doesn't mean I'm looking for a fight.

a discussion and a debate is healthy. why are you in forums where that's bound to happen if you're going to accuse people of looking for an argument when they disagree with what you're saying?

I consider pulsing damage not as telegraphed as opposed to a stack up yes. I was a bit surprised to see during the final trial damage ticking down without the boss doing a harrowing hell like animation. I don't really have a strong opinion on this so I'm not really debating lol. I just liked the pulsing damage and the small heal check on the expert dungeon even though they're easy to deal with. The extent of my opinion goes "Oh that's neat, hope that happens more often and becomes more relevant/harder to deal with."

it is just as telegraphed. ALL damage is telegraphed. IMO 5x small hits that does the same amount as 1x big hits is no different. you're still not engaging with your kit any more with 1 type than the other.

So much for your strike, I am getting in dungeons with healers quickly, it is always the tank we are waiting on. In fact our duty finder was all "Adventurer in Need: Tank" except 1.

Seems like the tanks are doing a better job of striking, albeit unintentionally.

That's good, we don't actually want to hurt anyone's play time, we just want to gain attention to the criticisms we have.
I understand that criticizing your perfect game is a cardinal sin that can never be forgiven... But we feel this is that important to us to improve the game.
When this is all over, I hope we can make amends by performing seppuku after doing 50 hail yoshi-p's to an effigy of emet-selch, and buying all the cash shop items.

You're talking to the wrong person about fanboying, I am not some weeb, "Square and Yoshi only do right" person, like most of this forum is. I just think the healer strike is hilarious, especially because square probably doesn't even remember this forum exists.

Yoshi-P acknowledged in a live letter quite a while ago that he does read the Forums, he is given the top 10 threads translated to him daily. I'm sure staff are really reading the forums while looking at what to give him.

Just a small reminder that there are only 4 battle system designers (aka job designers) as of the release of dawntrail. We have 21 jobs and no job designer for healer.

Which healers should have someone focusing on them too.

This has been shown dozens of times to be an unintentional artefact of how slow DF updates and how the system was when AIN was released

Tank is “first priority” for AIN which people believe is a reflection of the fact that when it launched tank was the rarest role. Healer can only be AIN specifically when tank is NOT AIN. If both are needed then tank is given AIN even if there are actually less healers

This leads to the situation where you are a tank and queue for something as AIN and the queue takes like 5 minutes but if you leave and queue as a healer you’ll get an insta pop, both roles are technically needed but even though healer is “more” needed tank is the default AIN. You also notice this where if you check AIN at the dead of the servers downtime when nobody is queuing or right after downtime tank is just the default AIN
