Healing was more challenging in ARR and HW casual content but the game was growing. How is that possible? The problem is Mr Flower that if we make the easiest content in the game challenging enough to force the casual playerbase to learn how their characters work and actually play the game properly, they'll just cry and leave instead of actually challenging themselves. It happens EVERY TIME ANY GAME DOES THIS. I'm not saying I think healers should only have a challenge in harder content, I'm saying its not possible if square wants to keep a playerbase.

I mean when I’m healing broil “feels” like 100% but I’m using verifiable data here
The healers are completely out of whack on button contribution compared to the other roles
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
There is a lot of wiggle room between glare spam and a dot and 'too complicated for noobs.' Nobody is demanding perfect healer dps from dungeons or normal mode raids/trials anyway. Heck there are people who are bad at dps and tank too that get by without doing rotations properly. They could do the same on moderately more involved healer damage as long as they keep the party alive.
Just curious: has JP forum/twitter(?) side noticed this strike, what seems to be their opinion if any?
Well, according to a lot of people who come to this thread and say this strike is stupid, that's exactly it.And there's the gate keeping. So my opinion on a ridiculous strike and pointing out WHY its not going to accomplish what yall think it will because I don't do endgame savage content makes my opinion any less valid? The complaint is healers aren't fun, and here I am saying I find them fun. And so do most healer mains i know, including those of my friends who DO do the hard stuff.
Quite a lot of people say that this strike is stupid because a lot of people supporting the strike do not do any hard content, as such they do not know what they are talking about and their opinion is invalid.
At the same time we have people supporting the strike who do Savage and Ultimate and they also claim that healing is boring even then.
Sometimes rumors are just... rumors.
Bro, I'd gladly do run with You. Just so we can see this "healing" defecite eye to eye. But I'm from differend side of the world (Eastern Europe) and play on European DC, and ngl, not willing to level stuff to 90 before DT on NA DC. And ngl - having good party is hardest part getting that ASS clear I did. Best healer fun I had.I will gladly do one with you right now...? I will hand it to you on a golden platter. Would help me clear as I need fresh bodies...I made it to the last boss on the first one.
- I assume I won't get a response though, that's how these things typically work out, no one is ever willing to walk the walk with me :C and I need them clears.
