So first people said no one supporting the strike does hardcore content but now they think blacklisting will keep us from doing the content we do? Which is it?Yes, I guess it's like Evergrey said, and that the progression groups might feel like someone who is "striking" would be a hindrance to the group somehow. But I've seen (you probably have, too) the people on discords saying they'll blacklist just because they think the whole topic is "stupid" or otherwise illegitimate, and for whatever reason they don't want to be associated with people supporting a "strike." It's wild how varied the reactions are.![]()

That is unfortunate. I do think most of the people who joined the discussion in good faith got a mostly normal response. But even a minority of toxic responses can leave a bad taste.I agree. Mentioning it (almost) anywhere else has gotten "interesting" reactions.
Although, I've received rather hostile reactions on this thread, too, even though I like the topic. I suppose people are just angry and lashing out, even regardless of whether someone supports the idea.
At this point this thread is a dumpster fire. Streamers have yapped about it and now their underlings have descended as though this game is some kind of esoteric science that not any one simpleton can grasp. Yet all the yapping streamers agree that the strike has valid points and Xenosys himself even agrees SE is driving the game into the ground.
Give healers some extra dps options, give us midcore content, nerf some sustains on non healer jobs. It's not really complicated. You don't need to run Ultimates to comprehend it. People are hiding behind experience because they just don't want to admit the game can improve.
And as far as it being called a strike...who cares? Don't participate. No one is forcing you to. Also attacking people and blacklisting people, especially this type of behavior coming from streamers who claim "You have no impact and nobody cares" only speaks to their immense fear of change that is all too expected of the core fossilized fanbase.

I think the worst part is how these raiders continuously keep stalking Gemina's logs (and others) and immediately dismiss any claims without providing good argument -- especially non-main healer raiders who started in ShB.
This is why Yoshi-P will always be against fflogs and dps meters.
They do that and conveniently ignore anyone who has logs they cannot shame to make a point.I think the worst part is how these raiders continuously keep stalking Gemina's logs (and others) and immediately dismiss any claims without providing good argument -- especially non-main healer raiders who started in ShB.

I join the movement, apart from an Excogitation from time to time, no longer really need me in the dungeon, and spamming my only dp spell quickly becomes boring...
This thread kinda proves how great and welcoming community the game has.
