Because it's getting traction. Which this thread should! The healer situation is so silly at this point. Over abundance of heals, now ppl can do ot for us? Not fair I already didn't know when to heal on playstation.
Every healer is becoming the same thing, the only one that was fun with high Apm and abit of choice has been nerfed. That my love was AST
From my reading of the JP fourms it's clear that many aren't as interested in adding more dps options to the kit, but there are still those that wish scholars had their old dots back, astro cards returning from stromblood, a larger distinction between barrier and pure healers, and that more healing could be required in harder content.
Saying the entire JP fourm is against it seems disingenuous. I'm by no means saying it's a popular opinion, but some do share our sentiments.
I think at the end of the day, I just want a bit of choice like it was back in arr - sb. It's all getting homogenised now and I have no idea if it's for accessibility, today nmo market, CBU3s understaffed - who knows.
I'm just not a fan of healers getting over blown kit heals, when it's not even needed anymore.
I'm a pure PS player and healer and tbh I'd be happy to swop bars (we get 16 actions per bar) if ppl just weren't putting me off with no clue that they were gonna burst heal themselves. Just puts me off
It's strange because they both think this strike is worthless but also think it's bad for the game. It's absurd trying to garner support from another region who probably doesn't know this is going on and even if they do definitely don't care.
There are outliers sure but I'm just saying that the majority over there don't want the same changes we want. The majority want more healbot changes instead of damage healer changes. I have seen a couple of JP healers complain about the lack of DPS buttons but they're mostly shot down by other JP healers with the same old "just play DPS" or "wouldn't it be better to have more damage to heal."From my reading of the JP fourms it's clear that many aren't as interested in adding more dps options to the kit, but there are still those that wish scholars had their old dots back, astro cards returning from stromblood, a larger distinction between barrier and pure healers, and that more healing could be required in harder content.

No. What part of "not at the expense of other roles" are you not understanding? Your ideas are terrible, come up with better ones that don't involve bringing down other roles just so you can be happy.
What about at the expense of the healing role? Everyone seems plenty content getting whatever it is they want at our role's expense. Tanks and DPS continue to bring down the healer role more and more with each expansion, but that's perfectly okay?
Sage has failed to live up to the fantasy of a sci-fi DPS healer. Please change this for 8.0. Make Sage fast, exciting, and aggressive. It should feel like a healer that plays like a DPS. Empower the aspects of Sage's unique healing mechanics: Kardia and Eukrasia to give its healing playstyle more identity.
Yeah, pretty much. Not my fault you make poor decisions in what job you play. You all can have more dps buttons, that's completely fine, but don't touch the other roles. This isn't a hard concept to grasp. You can have your cake and eat it too, you don't need to steal someone else's cake.
