    A protest doesn't have to be disruptive. That the queues can get affected is more a side effect and not the main purpose. It is more about showing that enough people are unsatisfied playing healer right now that they would rather not play it even, though in general they would like to play a healer if they would be different. That is at least how I understand the message from those organising it. Even though there are most likely of course some people who join the strike with the main purpose of disrupting the queue to force a chance but that is hard to control and hard to say how big that number even is.

    I think SB got it the worst since some fights just straight up had mechanics removed entirely with nothing replacing them The buster on Inferno no longer ramps up with enhancements and Aulus doesn't spawn magitek claws which were the main thing making his biggest gimmick more then "hold forward to pass the mechanic..

    Not sure if it's been mentioned yet (the thread is becoming kinda big ) : just to discuss another fail point of healer design : let's look at Limit Breaks.

    While LB3 healer can feel good/rewarding and save a fight ; you need LB3 ready and a healer alive with most of the party dead (meaning it's likely due to avoidable damage).
    Meanwhile tank/dps LB are involved in fight design themselves.

    Healer LB 1 & 2 are never used. Why ? Because it's just an unneeded heal, and you're likely going to heal more with a single/couples spell/ability that doesn't lock you for 2s...

    It's like if a storm drain is blocked and there is usually a person who lies down in the puddle so that other people can walk over him and not get their socks wet, him getting up and refusing to do it anymore is disruptive in the sense that someone else is going to get wet. But people can still get where they need to be, their path is not blocked.

    Also I can only say how impressed I’m with any healer main willing to be tortured for another 2 years staying healer main. I left the role as my main role the moment I knew it wasn’t going to get better in endwalker. Like I still play healer from time to time but I will never be on it back as a main if it’s not getting fixed. And having the option to play good designed Meele jobs is kinda amazing

    A few old dungeons boss redesigns are for the better, but most of them just nerf bosses outright.
    Like final boss of Stone Vigil had aoes that left persistent ice puddles, but no, apparently that's too hard somehow. Now they are just standard aoes.
    Second boss in Keeper of the Lake also had more pesistent puddles, but now they disappear after a few seconds.

    Edit: meant it as a reply to KageTokage, but oh well.

    Don’t forget the not moving and doing stuff for like 10 seconds sucks mayor. You can safe the run but hopefully you don’t need to be in specific spot anymore after or you just dead.

    That sounds like the end of it being standard to do big pulls in dungeons.

    Even as a healer who tries to keep party members at full health, the tank can dip pretty low at points during a big pull. There's no way that they can dip 3x as low without being dead.
