The OP has links to two threads that are a couple of years old that analyse in-depth why people are dissatisfied with healers. It's right at the top. We know it's not new.
Yoshi p said play ultimate 99% and other content 1% so you will have funFirst of all, this has been happening since the SHADOWBRINGERS job trailer five years ago. I don't know how it took you so long to come to your senses.
SCH became BROIL spam like WHT, and Eos became dumb and unresponsive. Miasma III, Shadowflare, and Bane were replaced with (FOR GOD'S SAKE) ART OF WAR, Jesus Christ, a PvP action. (Sorry for the bad word.)
Healer classes are losing their identity, becoming all the same.
Another thing is: we don't need 20 healing skills if we don't use them most of the time. Even in Extreme Trials and Savage, we spam BROIL and GLARE 90% of the time, hoping that my co-healer dies or something goes wrong to be needed.
In XIV, healers spend most of their time (around 80%) doing DAMAGE, and we have just one skill for that. THIS IS TOO BORING.
Yoshida-san said, "Want a challenge? Go play Ultimate," but Ultimate is less than 1% of the game. So for the other 99%, do we have to feel bored playing it?
We want to have FUN even in moments when we don't need to heal!
And here I leave my plea:
I'd rather press five buttons on my controller or keyboard and do the same damage than just press a single button all the time.

I been saying this the whole expansion, I waited, I played.
Healers still feel about as heroic as a doormat.
Alot of content hardly needs us, EX's need 1 good whm for heal checks. Content is too easy the only thing to look forward to as a healer is a bad group so we can breaup up our 211111111112111111111 rotation.
As far as savages go, you only need two healers while learning the fight. Once everybody has it down you can swap out for more dps and be on your merry way. The skill level has been lowered so much Ive had to scrap it off the floor to find it. Healers don't feel heroic or necessary anymore. Really if SE is going to keep farming out our abilities just replace us with stronger healing potions.

It is concerning to see some healers displaying negative behavior in response to new expansions. Instead of focusing on the challenges and changes, it would be more constructive for healers to embrace the new content and adapt accordingly. Observations have shown that some healers exhibit arrogance by refusing to heal or resurrect players, particularly if the tank is new or struggling with mechanics. This can lead to an unsatisfactory experience in alliance raids, where other players, often DPS with healing or resurrecting abilities, have to compensate for the healer's lack of support.
Healers should prioritize their responsibilities, which include healing and resurrecting, to ensure a smooth gameplay experience. The expectation is for healers to maintain their role effectively, without letting personal frustrations interfere with their duties. It's important to recognize that every role faces challenges, but cooperation and a positive attitude can significantly improve the gaming environment for everyone.
Moreover, some healers express a desire for the game to be more challenging, potentially due to feeling underutilized. However, addressing this by neglecting their core responsibilities is not the solution. It is crucial for all players, including healers, to work together harmoniously to enhance the overall experience.
Square Enix, known for its expertise in game development, is expected to balance the needs and feedback of all player roles without disproportionately catering to any single group. By maintaining this balance, the company ensures that the game remains enjoyable and fair for the entire player base.
In conclusion, while feedback and adaptation are important, it is essential for healers to fulfill their roles responsibly and constructively engage with new content. A cooperative and positive approach will benefit not only individual players but the community as a whole.

I, as a responsible healer, do not have an obligation to make sure your queues are filled. what you are asking for is to basically subvert my enjoyment for yours. sorry, but as the saying goes... you do not pay my sub. if I choose to play dps instead of main whm for this expansion... that is ENTIRELY... my decision to make, not yours.Square Enix, known for its expertise in game development, is expected to balance the needs and feedback of all player roles without disproportionately catering to any single group. Like someone else mentioned, is this a JP mentality? Because I'm not a striking healer and I play on NA and it sounds like you're saying people have to stay in the healer role because that's the role they've done and they can't ever change because they have to think about the community. Says who? If they aren't feeling the role, they should be allowed to leave it alone and play a role they enjoy. It is concerning to see some healers displaying negative behavior in response to new expansions.
