To early, lets wait untill we see more. I am worried about Scholar, but they cooked with Paladin, Bard and Dragoon, so I want to give them a chance.

"We heard you didn't like glare spam, so we present to you... glare spam again!! but the animations alters every other cast!!!!" *pause for applause*
...Anyway, the evolved WHM showcase was godawful, I'm sure the other healers will be just as bad and have the same tone deaf feel to them, reborn AST will just be the same garbage we have now in DT that killed the job fully for me, so the evolved AST will probably be bad and I think it's time to finally give up fully on enjoying AST ever again, but I'll probably still be stuck healing for my FC so... sucks to suck! and all that...

If they removed 95% of the oGCD heals from healers, and sped up outgoing damage so that player's hp are constantly dropping throughout the fight, then the proposed changes might actually work. Without the overpowered oGCD heals kit to heal with, WHM will be forced to GCD heal, and the +damage will make it feel less bad that you cannot spam glare 90% of the time.
Do I expect them to remove nearly all the oGCDs and actually make damage threatening during fights. Lol no.
RIP healers.
I like how they adressed glare spam and the solution is to remove your Dot and Misery so you can glare spam more?
"that's right guys, to make it even easier we've decided to give WHM... you guessed it, EXPEDIENT!!!" *confetti rains down*
Almost forgot that bit, can't wait to see the other healers also get mitigation+sprint skills, job individuality/fantasy is their highest priority after all...

I've seen this same argument spat around too many times over the years to the point I'm jaded. What makes you believe that we should "wait and see" when Healers are the most ignored job when it comes to identity in the game? Heck, their whole role is replaced by DPS in Dungeons and will continue to be because not only Phoenix Downs exist as a Raise on a CD per person, you take any tank into dungeon content and they'll be able to prop themselves up without issue with WAR continuing to be the most egregious.
Until I see proof that they're fixing this I'm not holding my breath.

This same “just wait and see”-strat really only works on non-healers.
We can all see their track record on Stormblood Lilies, ShB great lobotomization, SCH Energy Drain removal, the promise to have more healing yo do, etc…. to the point they seemingly had become afraid to reveal ‘too much’ otherwise their community might point out their mistakes early on which… later proven right anyway, and they had to either fix it right off the bat due to heavy backlash, or pull out “sorry this needs time pls wait for another 2-3 years”-card.
EDIT: for a more recent memory, remember when they mentioned they admitting to need more time to rework EW AST & what they cooked up for all those time was simply adding oGCD Asp Benefic/4th Essential Dignity potency (Ewer), 3rd Celestial Intersection (Spire), 2nd Exaltation (Bole), and reduce from 3 to 2 damage buff card in reopeners while leaving it impossible to have any sort of engaging card mechanics? For a rework that they claimed to take so much of their time they decided 6.0-6.3 wasn’t enough time to perform (they need entire expac!), adding what’s essentially charges to already existing functionally-same actions was all they could do? Does that really inspires confidence?
