The only way to get a company to listen to it's clients is to stop giving said company money.
The rest is just hope and cope.
Healers are complaining since years nothing changed while SQE worked on other jobs changes.
This proves, for the dev team, it's fine as it is and can wait 2 more years until 8.0.
While this could go even worse, no promises have been made about making this role interesting.

To be honest the game might actually be better without healers at all, relying only on mecanics.
And i am saying that while Sage if the only job i enjoy in FF XIV.

I mean by going off track record Your lucky SE hasn't "worked" on healers for a long while unlike other jobs (likely because they see the bland/boring state of healers as perfect), If they ever do decide to look into healer design it will almost certainly be somehow a downgrade from current design lol. I can't think of a single good job rework apart from EW monk which they decided to ruin in DT.

Best thing to do is either accept that it's not going to get better for any role (because it's not) and enjoy DDR gameplay or find something you enjoy more.

I came for the RP first, i always enjoyed PVE, so i cleared some EX and Savage, but if it was for the gameplay alone i would be gone already lol.
Not even talking about how poor the game does on a technical aspect and the whole ergonomic of the UI itself, but it's another debate.

The simple fact a thread like this one can exist, keep growing and even make it to website news without any response proves SQE don't care.
If you legitimately complain about something and the response takes years to come, the person answering does not have any respect for you.

that's how it feel now. I am sure they will give even more healing to other job like if they do improve enough before 8.0 don't expect any change

Frankly if they’re deleting healer I’d call that a win regardless. At least that tells us that these devs are pursuing their ‘vision’ whatever that is with confidence. Go ahead and do it.

What we have today is ‘wishy washy’ design that is made not for this game & probably only to appeal in nothing but ‘title’ of being the Duty Finder popper.

Also got love how much mit we have now. So much thsr something like howling eight has been severely neutered to where only the 1 and 5th pose any threat to the party and the fifth one would likely be kitchen sinked by all the party mits as well.

Thanks to the additional gear thus far (week 5, so it's not even BIS yet), I was able to handle the P1 Tracking Tremors without pressing a single GCD heal.

I expect that similar is possible with the final enrage too, but I didn't bother to try because the only thing on my mind at the time was 'play safe, get the clear, get me out of this fight'

I'm actually going to retract an earlier statement of sch maybe getting a potential buff or two. I say that cause throughout almoat all of ffxiv, sch was always the top dog. It was better than noct astro when it appeared and then also better than sge that sge had to get buffs through all of ew and even into DT's first patches. Now m6s is here and until you reach 90th to 100, Sge is better than sch there.

Honestly that’s only because SCH’s AOE is really badly designed for what the adds phase asks of you as the shield healer

Otherwise it’s still the same song and dance, SGE’s DPS is better in uncoordinated, SCH’s in coordinated, SCH’s healing kit still puts the other three healers to absolute shame with its raw level of utility
