theyre mostly social players or story players. You can see with how much they talk about the new dye system or facewear on other social media compared to the new job changes coming. They literally don't about the higher end content and job design at all.
na, its people who understand more about how the game works, watching many of you complain so hard about this is kind of funny.
the game is balanced around raids, and end gme content, dungeons could, for the most part, can be cleared by most comps of jobs. Its all about the skill of the players.

There is no skill around pressing bloodwhetting every 25 seconds and becoming an immortal godna, its people who understand more about how the game works, watching many of you complain so hard about this is kind of funny.

And let’s ignore dungeons for a second. Damage profiles in savage and ultimate are a mess as well to the point I’m spending 73% of my casts in TOP pressing broil as the SHIELD healer. Aren’t people constantly saying shield healer is the most stressful role in high end content. I don’t even know why I’m called the shield healer when I barely have 1/5th of the total raids mitigation
Healers are redundant in casual content and glorified glare bots in high end content. There is no content where healers are well designed
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Player

I disagree here.I think this might be the only game where the difficulty has steadily gone down over time as the expansions progress because the incoming damage in dungeons has remained proportionally static while the mitigation/healing cooldowns keep getting more bloated.
It's really not asking much to be pressured into having to actually use your entire kit in normal mode content.
Coils was an absolute joke until Nael. The only reason things seem easier is because the overall skill of the player has also gone up.
Compare Garuda Normal to Zodiark Normal, and tell me the game is easier.
Healing does need a bit of a rework, but it isnt because the game is easier.
Non issue. Stormblood and Shadowbringers started this wheel, you said nothing. Endwalker made it visible, you said nothing.
Now one man does a media spotlight and suddenly we have people with tacked on principles? I must have missed a ton of you during Heavensward when alot of people got upset that had to dps as well as heal.
Honestly it kind of disgusts me your abusing the point of protest for what seems to me childish grandstanding. Dungeon party optimization was already a thing and you never cared and we main tanks loved being more self sufficient, especially us mentors who have to clutch and compensate. If this went beyond dungeons maybe i would humor a balance argument but to me this just seems to be another back and forth about how "casual" casual content should FORCE a set pace for EVERYONE because you feel left out. I took the people worrying Blue Mages would replace them more serious then this.

We have been complaining about this for yearsNon issue. Stormblood and Shadowbringers started this wheel, you said nothing. Endwalker made it visible, you said nothing.

Just because you won’t look at the healer forum doesn’t mean we haven’t been complaining and this does go beyond casual content, we are being replaced in high end content and forced further and further into 1 button spam
Your desire for “self sufficiency” shouldn’t come at the expense of our entire role

This topic from 2020 is still ongoing: A summary of healer issues
Or this from 2022: Yoshi-P: "If you want more engaging content, go play Ultimate"
Healers are unhappy for years now. They voiced ther concerns. And waited paitiently for DT to see if they actually fixed something. They didn't. And the healer-less dungeon run on the media tour was just the proof of it.

It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.
