    Why the hell is Dragonfire dive still on 2 minute

    was it really worth it to lose spineshatter dive for a dash to keep a 2 min lv50 skill okay sure the new nidhogg stuff is cool but think about it on low levels poor new dragoons player that will have two jump until level 80 with one bringing you back to your point and the other getting you into the fight every 2 min

    They could have inspired from pvp a bit you give the PVP high jump on 30 seconds giving dragoon the mobility and abilities it should have and remove that out of place dash that no dragoons asked for

    Speaking of which is it me or the Job identities are way more represented and better in PVP than in PVE with less skills?

    They have been explaining in interviews that:
    • They want to focus on preventing content from being "the same" ie. in, out, tankbuster, raid-wide aoe. They did it since Stormblood to make it consistent for casual players but they regret it and are returning to their Heavensward philosophy of making mechanics more unique.
    • They want jobs to be easy to play, but they want to make it possible to express skill with them again. The don't want to do this at the same time people are getting used to their new content philosophy, so it might be in 7.2 or so.
    • Both so the developers can focus on their new content philosophy, and so that players can get used to it, they want to focus on making jobs more unique in 8.0 instead of changing both content and jobs at the same time.
    Of course, the order they are doing this in seems a bit out of touch because although players complained of "samey" mechanics for years, the people who were dissatisfied enough with that probably quit years ago and the bigger concern I see people discussing is job identity.

    I really, really want jumps on a Dragoon. Not ones that do damage necessarily. Elusive Jump and Spineshatter Dive are great and Spineshatter Dive didn't need to do damage. Replacing it with a dash seems strange when it's a... Dragoon.

    Yeah, losing Spineshatter Dive's jump animation and behavior and getting just a dash animation hurts more than losing the damage on it.

    Agree with both of you the dash is out of place as for my point it's not about DT content DRG will be fun in those no it's more low level content the core mechanic and overall strong skill of DRG arrvive only at lv80 and with spineshatter out and Geirskogul on 60sec DRG on lv 50-60 roulette will be even more boring than ever
