    Dear Hunt Community (Regarding S Ranks)

    Please hear me out, don't come at me with pitchforks but MAYBE just MAYBE the game should implement something that beefs up S Ranks health depending on how much damage it is receiving or how many people in the zone so people can make it on time. I understand there's cross world hunting BUT not everyone can make it on time. I think this would resolve a lot of early pulling, latency etc issues? Thoughts? Ideas? At least the ARR & HW S Ranks and so on? I feel like that's not asking for much and it is doable.

    Mao likes intent of suggestion buts Mao really nots sure how this can be done without unintendeds consequences. Moment max level characters enters zone to go after S-Class, characters whats actually at appropriate level for zone and S-class, would be turned into roads-kill by suddenly beefed ups S-class. Mao thinkings solution really has to come from players themselves. Be nice to each others and try cooperates.

    I like the overall idea of increasing S-rank durability based on the amount of people hitting it. I'd probably recommend doing something like scaling the S-rank's damage mitigation based on the number of players who have attacked it, and perhaps adding a hard cap to the amount of damage it can take per server tick.

    Now will they do something like this? We'll have to wait and see. But it would be fun for S-ranks to be a bit more of an event regardless, so my fingers are crossed.

    Make a level sync button similar to fates for S-ranks, cant hit the target until you're sync'd and attempting to kill it alone would be near impossible?

    Transform them into FATE-esque content, like the rare world-boss ones, e.g., Formidable, and then just cap them around that item-level, or make them be capped at -1 of the level cap, so that you're never higher than, say, 59, 69, 79, 89, 99.

    Personally, I wish hunts were reworked entirely which is more likely to invoke pitchforks than this.

    Agreed. The necessity of joining a discord to reliably farm hunts is annoying.

    That's the worst part about Hunts currently. I mean, the absolute dystopian levels of social interaction are a big one as well, but I shouldn't have to join a 3rd party program to be in the know about hunts. Clearly, the limitations of Linkshells are showing their ugly heads again.

    I think its a great idea, but some need to not forget you are not guaranteed to make every S rank, and that's okay! You can always spawn them in your home server or travel to help spawn them as well!

    Take mechanics from other games - make hunt targets neutral, so they don't murder leveling players.
    Then, to engage with it, you have to plomp down a "Rally Flag" that counts 2 minutes and is announced to the entire zone. Anyone clicking the flag extends it by 10-30 seconds, up to 5 minutes. While the flag is active the hunt target is unengageable like other people's treasure map mobs. Once the flag expires everyone who clicked it gets a Hunt! buff that allows them to not get oneshot by its mechanics, thus granting a possible kill.

    I rather they make it so players from other worlds don't get credit for killing A-ranks and S-ranks then reduce the number of kills required for the achievements or reduce their respawn time. I'd like to see what's going on and deal with its mechanics instead of seeing a swarm of several hundred players obliterate it in seconds.
