They said there were going to do a lot more with hats. I wouldn't rule out being able to wear it at this point unless you're seen a pic where it isn't an option. Personally after the comments made about head gear I'm hopeful Viera will have a lot more choices.

I dont understand why they differentiated the Picto AF to be fair, it would look great on both with midriff.

I'm glad they designed it this way for males, hopefully Square enix values my feedback on this as well.
PS. We don't know which was made first, the female or male design.

I would have preferred just the jacket and no top. We all have our aesthetic preferences, and SE chose what they did.

It also means male Au Ra and male Viera are "crossdressers", too (on account of their starter gear).
Makes me sad to think that midriff-baring top = women's clothing to a lot of people.

Did I not say I would prefer even more skin, in the male version? Did I not say people have their own aesthetic preferences? The devs can't cater to everyone in every piece of gear they design.
