SIGNED.
As someone who plays a masculine character, I WANT PANTIES, TOO. AND TO SHOW THIGHS. AND TUMMY.
And I have friends who play feminine characters who want more pants/butch options!
Please give us the choice.

I agree, that the female pictomancer gear should have been the default outfit.
Sadly even if males would have received a exposed midriff someone would have made a thread and complained about it.
I wonder are the Japanse players fine with this?
From a quick glance at their very organized general forum they don't have a care about it, Their top threads are about the red onion helm restrictions, a discussion on collabs and a spanish version thread, all other threads seem quiet.
And I'd like to add something design-related thing. Sometimes the clothing for male characters seems to be a downgraded version of the clothing for female characters.(sorry i couldn't add Dancer gear, but i think there are some simillar issues.)
I see that SE for whatever reason again thinks all fem chara wants to be less modest while all male charas are scared to show midriff that's not on beachwear/casual wear. Please do better, SE. Give us the option.
Also lol. I like how all braincells just went out of the window when trans panic sets in.
.... I'm very lonely, hating anything that looks like a crop top, and loving equipment restricted to jobs as well as races.
Yeah, I'm personally kinda annoyed by how many fem outfits have shorts + thigh highs or a short skirt + thigh highs instead of pants. If I'm playing a tank, I want to look like a tank in a suit of cool armor. Not like a "genderbend" cosplayer.I see that SE for whatever reason again thinks all fem chara wants to be less modest while all male charas are scared to show midriff that's not on beachwear/casual wear. That's what I feel about male clothing most of the time. They really need to hire someone who has fun in creating male clothing.
It's obvisous that the current artist is specialized in female fashion.
A lot of the male Nier clothes look really good. But let's be honest. Also the male Nier clothes are less interesting than the female counterparts.
This long dress is much more interesting than the long coat for the males for example.
The coat misses interesting details. It looks kinda blank. I mean...., it's okay to make a coat as the counterpart for the dress.
But why is it so blank? Why has the coat a differenet style than the dress?
If a male-female couple stands next to each other the elegant evening dress and the military coat don't match well.
This should not be the case with the 'same' piece of gear.

Huge shame. It gets a little disheartening when you see a glam you really like only for it to look different on your own character simply because they are the opposite gender model. I would have hoped with the pvp outfits with midriff showing and Monk crafted gear, they'd start calming down on gendered clothing.
I don't know if it was on purpose or not to hide the midriff area in the Pictomancer male miqo'te official art and then showcase only the females up until the very end where the game is so soon to release they won't have time to make any changes.
