Will bicolor gemstone vouchers be used in dawntrail?

Is it worth farming vouchers during EW to sell or use in dawntrail or will there be a new type of voucher for dawntrail. i only started playing in EW so i dont know how it works

We don't know yet if there will be a new voucher since the vouchers were new to Endwalker (there was no voucher reward for gemstones in Shadowbringers). Soonest we'll know is once the dataminers are able to go through the 7.0 patch data and create a list of all the new FATE currency rewards (assuming you pay attention to the info the dataminers release). The patch notes themselves won't be specific about the new rewards being added though they may hint with screenshots of a couple of the rewards.

The only way I can see the current vouchers decreasing in value for the long term is if the same voucher is used in Dawntrail AND any new items purchased with the vouchers are not considered desirable by the general player base.

They may decrease in value in the short term if a new voucher is added but the FATE currency remains the same. Farmers would likely continue to buy the current vouchers until they have access to the new voucher unlocked then switch to buy the new one. At that point, the current voucher would start increasing in value again since there are still players who want the EW items purchased with them but fewer vouchers will be making it to the marketboard.

If there is a new FATE currency (regardless of whether there is a new voucher), expect the current vouchers to start increasing in price again.

Honestly if you want to just grind it anyway. If they don't use them again, you can either use what you have for either of the two rewards or if you have them already, now you have something you can sell for a lot of gil.

There is almost zero chance that those old vouchers will be used for new rewards, and their price will drop fast a few days into the expansion

If there's a new voucher, it will require capping out FATE rank in all new zones, so 6,000 or so bicolor gemstones. There will be nothing to spend them on except mob drops and the old vouchers
