I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!

Well maybe again I'll try it. I'm not afraid of doing PvP it's more of meh I want to play the story for the story itself. Hell even if I've never done pvp i might even be a natural at it .Jk though in theory and concept it shouldn't be too hard to do except for mage classes where they may just get pwned and or have to work harder at getting a victory. Like I said I'm against the open dueling but if there's restrictions put on it to where say lvl 50 Johnny doesn't go and "assrape" lvl 1 Jim because Johnny's a douche and has an inferiority complex and thinks beating lvl 1 players makes him superior. Or even getting harassed by people because you declined said duel invite and then they get their ass-hat friends to join in on it. That is what will put a damper on it and get se to say uhhh this ain't working guys and take it away... (trust me I'm not being pessimistic on it, I just know that unfortunately that's how some of us "humans" behave and try to give a realistic view on it).
And I know you guys keep saying stuff about Auto decline but if they spam you enough even with auto decline on some people will still get pissy about it >.<. Le sigh sometimes... I just wish we could all think alike then it would be easier for everyone to get along with but in a way I'm glad we're not because that would just be too damn creepy LOL
(by the way I try to be very open minded about things just sometimes *shrugs* everyone has different things that excite them)

as someone else mentioned, the great thing about pvp in this game, will be that anyone can play any class/job. it doesn't take a lifetime to level a new one, or create special setups just for pvp. so in theory, everyone should have an equal chance at being "OP" and being the underdog.
I hate to get into this part of it, but it's difficult for any game to exclude the rock, paper, scissors aspect of 1v1 pvp. there's always some class that will be great at beating whatever your playing. what I'm looking forward to are the same job duels, and supporting a party in open/arena combat.

that wouldn't sound too bad as long as it was done fairly like I said I don't want someone ganging up on a low level person because they think it's funny (aka they mainly have an inferiority complex and feel the need to make themselves look better but in reality them doing that makes them look pathetic)
but if a great deal of thought was put behind it rules and regs for dueling and such. Then I might not be completely against it.
maybe you should add on that previous post of yours the maybes as well rofl

I'd be up for it as a good side activity. I think people have had too many bad experiences with games like Lineage/Aion and are afraid that introducing PvP will turn it into one of those. If it's done right it could be enjoyable.
I'd agree you would need some rebalancing and some damage adjustments or something to make it viable. As it stands a single WHM could devastate an entire party in 2 seconds if he wanted to.

that's done with read the rest of my posts or actually read that whole post and then later posts as well instead of just bolding one specific area of it ^_^

I'm all for Arena and Duel type PvP. The only type of PvP I'm not in favor of in this case is the toggle open world PvP if there is one mechanic present.
If you aren't flagged for PvP, then you attack someone who is, it would automatically flag you. That's fine for most games, but in these types, you could just have a group of friends flagged for PvP stand around a spawn area for an NM. Then if another group trying to camp as well misfires an ability and flag themselves for PvP, it's like vultures on a rat.
There would have to be careful balances to the rules of open world PvP if it were to be added.
I've never agreed with having open gear sets for anyone to inspect. it defeats the incentive to try original setups, opens others up to criticism, and could intimidate some from trying a duel with someone with superior gear. when you can just copy the next guy, why look for something new, etc.
we shoudl have an option to have inspect open or closed as well.

SE, just add the /smack emote (with knock-back effect). That should make everyone happy(and you can do it anywhere).
~'\[[_LEGACY_]]/'~TENTs because solo-friendly content forces me to want one!
